Lovely place in a nice location within a short walk to King Street. The beds were very comfortable, and the living room was a great hangout space. The only issue was that there was a lot of construction going on in the area and the walls were quite thin, so it got very noisy, even at night.
Great stay in this charming historic home. The location was super convenient, and the space was cool and comfortable despite the summer heat plenty of fans and AC. The host was very attentive and responsive. There was some nearby construction, but I expected that from past reviews. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable experience!
The place was easy to locate with parking in the back. Lots of places to eat and shop in walking distance. Not super teen friendly but we did find ice-cream parlors.
Cute place, comfortable beds, fun neighborhood! Unfortunately the construction behind the home and in the street is noisy. We were glad we had ear plugs and head phones to sleep with.
This was a great place to stay! It was within walking distance of great restaurants and excursions. Very clean and comfortable. I will say that we only had 2 teaspoons for 5 people so we had to take turns eating breakfast. The picture shows a Kuerig on the countertop, but when we arrived there was no Kuerig, just a regular coffemaker. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable place to stay.
This was the perfect place to stay for a girls weekend with friends . Only complaints was the bathroom had a terrible smell. (Possibly sewer gas.) And we we driving a Yukon Denali and the parking is VERY a tight. But the home itself was clean and had lots of character . Great location.

Disliked: Location
We managed but not what we expected
Where to begin? The property description should state that no vehicle larger than a very small compact car will fit in the parking provided. There were 5 of us in an SUV & once we got in the space it was nearly impossible to get out. When the 2nd unit guests arrived it was totally impossible for their SUV & ours to fit. We offered to park in the parking garage several blocks down the street @ 24/day. That was extremely inconvenient. The bathrooms are inconvenient to all the bedrooms. The street noise is horrible & constant. The beds were com-fortable so at least when you laid awake all night listening to the noise you were comfortable. One of the toilets did not work when we arrived. It took nearly 24 hours before a plumber could get there to fix it. A day or two later, it was not working again but my husband fixed it that time. The kitchen is minimally stocked with cooking prep stuff. The sitting area was comfortable & the TV worked fine. The greatest inconvenience was having to walk several blocks to get to our car. Thank goodness it wasn't raining. Construction workers arrived at our door at 7:00 a.m. one morning to inform us they were doing work on the street right outside our window. It could not have been more inconvenient. Thank goodness we did get a chance to visit some interesting historical sites. The parking was horrible all over Charleston. There were hundreds of trash cans lining almost every street. City of Charleston: Get your act together.
This was a lovely old house, with a few of the issues that old houses have. It was very clean and comfortably furnished with modern appliances. But like all old houses, the steps lean a bit and the floor and the deck are not perfectly flat. But it was a great neighborhood close to dozens of restaurants and shops. And the beds were comfortable.
Great stay in a great location! We loved everything about this place--communication was great. They even saved a package that accidentally was delivered there a day early!

Beautiful and Comfortable charming historical row house
An absolutey beautiful well situated house within walking distance of many attractions.
The flat is very comfortable and updated. Easy walk to upper King Street, bars, restaurants and shops. Coffee cafe next door. Plan on an Uber to the French Quarter area. Overall it was a great stay for our sister in law getaway weekend.
We came over spring break to tour College of Charleston. The house was perfect for our family of 6. We had plenty of space and the house was in a fantastic location, close to everything!
The house is clean. A little noisy in the neighborhood at night, but that’s to be expected. Property manager answered right away when we had questions.

Reviewer Comments:
We had a a great experience, the apt was adorable. Check in was easy and accommodating. Great location, but like other reviewers you can hear everything from the street in the master.
We stayed one night here and really enjoyed the property. We had 4 small kids and 4 adults and stayed comfortably. The only challenge was they only have 1 parking spot per rental and we had 2 cars. My parents ended up parking down the street but we were able to shuttle them back to the house in our car.
The host was very responsive and friendly, we super appreciated being able to check in a little early to drop our bags. The location is wonderful, short walk to lots of shops & restaurants and very short drive to other areas, including the historic district. The home was spacious and beds comfortable. There was coffee supplied and a little corner store just 1 clock away to grab milk, snacks, etc. There were toiletries provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) and a washer/dryer with laundry pods (we did not use) and dish washer. There is one large bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. Note the two full baths are both downstairs. But water pressure good! This unit is located at the top of some steep stairs up from the street. So be aware for lugging bags or if you have mobility issues. We really did enjoy it but couldn’t do 5 or 4 stars (wish I could say 3.5) because there is so much construction around the house. I booked several months ago and thought maybe it would be done but these are big ongoing projects. The house directly behind this one is being renovated and then what looks to be a large complex is another block back. It is LOUD! But the street noise is also very loud, feels like people on the street are in the room with you. I’d wake up and check the window because it sounded so close like someone was on the porch. There is also a very large metal plate out front that is noisy. 2 sound machines and ear plugs couldn’t drown it out. Couldn’t sleep.

The best way to visit Charleston is to stay in one of its classic homes - there's nothing like mornings with coffee or evening drinks on the piazza! Location is good - convenient to the bars and restaurants of upper King Street. Very comfortable and well outfitted - great place to stay with friends. Make sure to visit Coquin next door!
