"We had a very nice stay. The chateau is lovely but the grounds are a little neglected. Breakfast was not included and fairly expensive so we ate in the village. "

Besides a visit to the Château d’Azay-le-Rideau, you can take day trips to other castles. We rented e-bikes in Amboise and rode to Château de Blois and back. Drive t, about 1 hour each way."

"This property is amazing! The chalet, the grounds and the rest of the little houses are beautiful and very well maintained! Everything was above my expectations. The pictures on Expedia don’t do it justice. We stayed there for 3 nights in a room called Terrasse 1. The place has 2 levels. On the first floor there is a large living room , bathroom and a very well equipped kitchenette The bedroom is on the second floor. It is a good size and the bed was very comfortable. It was by far the best place I ever stayed in! If back on the Loire valley, we would definitely stay there again!"

"Very friendly staff. Basic, small room with kettle, tea and coffee but no stirrers. Carpet was dirty around the side of the bed and could do with replacing. There is a car park but this is not free, which we didn't know when booking. The bar area is very nice."
