"We loved our stay at La Maison Jules! It is located close to the train station/visitor center and walking distance to the museums and the old town. The house has great character and the room/bathroom was very spacious. We truly enjoyed our breakfast and conversations with the host. "

"We stopped for one night, the hotel was fine but quite basic, our room was very small and a little dated, plus the bed quite hard. However, all the staff were very friendly and despite having little English (and us having little French) we warmly welcomed. Our room and the public areas were very clean and despite what other reviews have said, the area felt quite safe. The hotel is well located, a short walk to restaurants and bars, very near the railway station but also quiet at night."

"Room very dark but clean and fresh. No staff, but helpful lady on the phone who helped us gain access to the hotel and room 30 minutes early. Slept very well, love bed and covers. Shower seemed to run out of hot water at shower time in the morning and the heating system isn't the easiest to comprehend. Hotel is in a great position to explore the wonderful city of Tours."
