"I recently spent the weekend here and it was a very pleasant experience. Check in was easy, navigating to find our rooms was very easy, the restaurant Myrtie Mae's was wonderful the 2 times we chose to dine there, the pool and hot tub was clean and very appreciated, and each employee I made contact with was very pleasant. The only downfalls I had was the parking lot felt "tight" to me as it was a small parking lot and I felt that, as with most older hotels, that there could be some needed updates to the rooms. I also really liked that the location was so convenient and so close to so many activities, tourist attractions, and restaurants. I would stay here again!"

"Mid week was quiet and peaceful. Parking next to the cabin was simple. AC works, pool is small but spotless. Host requested a "pre-check in". "We held a family reunion here for 34 people including 13 grandkids/cousins ages 1 mo. to 7 yo. The house layout was perfect, with 4 ensuite bedrooms on each of the 3 levels providing plenty of separation and the room to go somewhere quieter when activities on the main level got to chaotic. The back deck overlooking the lake was enormous and was a main focal point of our visit. Everyone loved the pool and lazy river in the lower level. Jacuzzies worked well. The outdoor play ground area and larger pool and lazy river were directly across the parking lot, so easily accessible. No complaints - but there were a few non-essential items (couple games, e-z loungers, etc) that could have worked better, but nothing that really took away from our enjoyment. Host was very responsive to all our needs. Would definitely stay here again."
