Dog friendly visit to the vineyards
Nice well presented house. Perfect yard for the dogs. Responsive host. Main dining and lounge area is outside under cover which is perfect for the warmer months.

Perfect place to chill with friends
Great deck and well equipped kitchen and facilities. Host very quick to respond and help out with queries. This is our second stay and we'll be back!

Just What we needed
Accommodation exactly as described. Additional surprises in the availability of condiments, Plastic wrap etc. There was absolutely nothing we needed that we couldn’t find. We had a dog with us - she loved running around the garden. And even here the host was thoughtful with dog bowls and toys! Many vineyards near the property and some are also dog friendly. Mark communicated really well with us and was a thoughtful host. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very cosy and well stocked home. Comfortable beds. Medium sized yard for dog was great. Best feature is outdoor deck. Great to relax and read. Owner gave good tips about places to eat.

A lovely return trip
This was our second stay at the flamingo house and it was just as lovely as the first stay. Check in was as easy as it can get. The property owner messages us to let us know the mulberry tree was in fruit and to help ourselves. The house was clean and tidy and despite having plenty of useful kitchen equipment and a good pantry could benefit from more cups/glasses. 5 mugs in a 6 sleeper house wasn’t quite sufficient. We would 100% come and stay here again and whilst we didn’t bring the dogs this time the large secure garden would have been perfect for them.

The house was great for couples who want to get away during the weekend. Excellent pet is friendly. It has a beautiful backyard which was very secure for our dogs. The house is very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is an amazing full kitchen equipped and supplied. The house is a perfect spot close to Hunter Valley Winery, Mark was an excellent, responsive host and very flexible for check-in time. Highly recommended for the weekend away. Five-star accommodation. Thanks again Mark we will stay at your place again next time

Lovely well equipped property with very responsive owner
A well-equipped property with everything that you need for a stay. Great deck area and large dog fenced garden. A very quiet street in Cessnock which was central to all Hunter valley wineries and activities. Mark was a responsive host who had thought of most things and given clear instructions. Would definitely recommend and come back sometime.

Flamingo house is spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Everything you could possibly want or need has been provided by the owner. The rear deck and yard was a lovely place to sit and eat and our dog enjoyed the peaceful surrounds. As other reviewers have said this is a very quiet place where you will get a good nights sleep. A great location close to the Hunter Valley wineries. Thanks to the owner for a great stay.

Perfect
Beautiful cottage, clean and well appointed. White Bed linen and towels, fully stocked kitchen. Air con/heat if needed. Beds comfy and cosy sitting room, out door dining area. Quiet location in cul de sac, close to vineyards and shopping centre. Best cottage we have ever stayed in. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent pet friendly yet very clean house in good location. Indoor living area a little small for 6 adults but a great outdoor deck to compensate. Kitchens well equipped and supplied. Would def return.

Such a beautiful house with a lovely outdoor area. The home was exceptionally clean and tidy, and the check in and out process were easy to follow. House is in a great location and my friends and I had a wonderful time staying here. Perfect for a weekend away!

Lovely dog friendly property, would definitely return
Fantastic property with 3 good sized bedrooms and a big dog friendly yard. This has to have been the best stocked holiday house we’ve ever stayed in with everything we needed available. The home owner was very responsive to messages. The house itself is a short drive from the high street but parking is a breeze so no hardship. We would 100% stay here again!

Very Homely
House was great, kitchen really well equipped. Bedrooms were really beautiful with nice comfy beds. The back deck is the main attraction, we spent most of our time out there. Very central for travelling around the Hunter.

Everything you need and more!
Flamingo House is a beautifully renovated cottage. It has a wonderful large backyard which was very secure for our Cavalier King Charles. The pantry is generously stocked with condiments etc for cooking at the cottage and the kitchen is fully equipped with many appliances. There is also a lovely covered outside deck for eating or just relaxing on the lounges. Would definitely stay here again!

Could not have asked for a better thought out or stocked property for our family and 2 golden retrievers. Despite the constant rain it was still a lovely stay. Mark has really thought of everything and we can’t wait to go back and stay again in better weather!

Thank you Mark for a wonderful holiday. Flamingo House is very well presented, air conditioned and well stocked. Communication with Mark was excellent - he was responsive and very helpful. This property welcomes dogs so it was a great place to stay for the whole family.

Awesome family long weekend
From booking the home to arriving to leaving, Mark was fantastic to deal with, very responsive and accommodating. A lovely, easy, friendly experience
So hard to find good accommodation that takes fur babies and is this clean. The house (kitchen, bathroom and bedding) was immaculate. House is cute and welcoming, with lovely quirky touches (flamingo flare!), Netflix, Stan, dog toys and an incredibly well appointed kitchen of clean kitchenware. A nice deck to watch kids / dogs play in the garden. Location is great, less than 15 mins to Polkolbin (Wineries, Zoo, Cafe Enzo, Hunter Valley Gardens etc). Coles is minutes away and there’s an excellent playground in Cessnock...better than most in the city! Communication with Mark was excellent....friendly and speedy. Thanks for a great stay!

The property is an excellent option for travellers with a pet, in our case, a puppy. It is close to the Hunter Valley and very quiet. The availability of staple kitchen supplies and little luxuries was exceptional
