"Very nice hotel with a comfortable bed and big bathroom. The hotel isn’t really in the downtown area of Durango, but it was pretty convenient for us with our car. I would definitely stay here again!"
"The breakfast was considerably better than other hotels. The fire alarm at midnight was inconvenient and apparently not all that necessary. This is a nice hotel and I recommend it."

"Upon our arrival we were greeted by Stephanie, and she helped us with scheduling an extra night that we needed due to a change of plans. Cody, the assistant manager, was also very polite and helpful with our change in plans and needing an extra night in our room. The young man working the breakfast was on top of things. He made sure everything was kept stocked, and he did all of this with a smile on his face. The breakfast was a full breakfast with lots of options, and was delicious!"
"Hôtel parfait pour séjourner dans le centre de Durango. L’hôtel a énormement de cachet car ancien. Il est propre, très bien entretenu et la literie confortable. Certes le prix de la chambre est élevé mais il en vaut la peine vu le style et la localisation en plein centre à côté de la gare.
Le personnel est au top.
Le petit dejeuner est correct et il y a des fruits frais.
Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour Durango"
"Have traveled alot and this is one of our favorite hotels. A step back in time elegantly presented. Front desk was wonderful, food in Saloon tasty and reasonably priced. Close to the train (love the whistles) and great shopping. Our 3rd visit and we will be back!!"
"I loved my corner room on the second floor. Standing on the second floor deck in the evening I watched a bear walk through the parking lot and then along Junction Creek.
I love the close access to the Animas river trail which I enjoy walking on into town and to restaurants.
And after a powerful afternoon thunderstorm I watched as Junction Creek briefly became a fast flowing creek on its way to the nearby Animas river."
St. Columba Catholic Church is just one of the places to see in Durango, so why not enjoy the other things to explore during your travels? Stroll along the riverfront or seek out the hiking trails.
