"La Bahía was a really good choice for our honeymoon. The location is excellent, right across from the Santa Cruz pier and beach, and the property felt newly renovated. Everything looked clean, fresh, and updated. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. We chose a partial ocean view instead of an accessible room because we wanted the better view, and it still worked well for us. For accessibility, the carpet was thick but manageable, the doorways were easy to get through in a manual chair, and the room felt spacious enough to navigate comfortably. The hotel is also right off the main street, which made it easy to roll up and down the boardwalk. There is an automatic door button outside the building, though not one inside, but staff were usually quick to help. The pool and hot tub were standout amenities. The pool had a chair lift available, which I appreciated seeing even though I did not use it. The hot tub was especially easy to use. The hand rails made it much easier for me to lift myself up, move my legs over, and get settled without dealing with slippery tile or awkward entry. Room service was also very good. The only downside during our stay was High Tide. We waited about 35 minutes for one plate of pesto rigatoni, and the interaction afterward with the waitress and manager felt a little awkward. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay and would absolutely come back."

"The hotel was not what I expected from Marriott branded hotel. It was tired. Better than your motel quality but left some room. The gentleman at the front desk was underwhelming, I asked some questions about the area but language barrier caused challenges, while ok, I don’t mind working to communicate with others he seemed more interested to get back to the stuff on his phone. The elevators were underwhelming and just needed some TLC that is the first impression on the way to the room. I had to fiddle with the front door to get it to close right each time in and out. The room was clean enough but just felt a little rushed to get together in design and cleaning. Again, ok property and traveling 1 night for buisness it was fine, I slept and walked to food around. Also just don’t walk around too late. It’s rough out there. "

"Good stay for a family of 4, they didn't make up our room one of the days but other than that it was satisfactory."

"Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and well laid out. Hallway needed some vacuuming. Parking was plentiful and seemed safe. Lobby was more than adequate and free breakfast was provided. Breakfast could have had a little more variety, but was OK. While the surroundings were mostly farmland, it was convienient to the highway and multiple gas stations and a mini market plus Starbucks and a sandwich shop. Overall, above average and reasonable price for the area."
