"We loved every inch of Sweetwater Cottage. The neighborhood amenities are very nice and easy to access. Bullfrogs sang us to sleep. Spotless and comfortable! Super quiet neighborhood. Nothing is closer than Oriental, so plan your trip accordingly. We ate at Brantley’s, Barcos, and Toucan Bar and Grill. All were good. "This place was awesome. Great location. Quiet. There were a few imperfections we took pictures on upon arrival just because the refundable deposit was pretty expensive to stay. For instance, a corner of the tall lamp by the little closet had a piece of the stone woodstove slab under it to keep it level. These things didn't effect the quality of our stay I'm just a licensed home inspector so that's what I do. We had a great time and plan to come back. Would give it 10 stars if I could. "

"My fiancé and I stayed at this cottage for 6 days, and we did not want to leave!! It was SO private and relaxing, which we both needed! "The house itself is pretty rustic, but the property is fabulous! The view from the screened porch was beautiful, and the morning sunrises were incomparable. There is no Wi-Fi, but there is plenty of fun to be had. We kayaked and enjoyed the waterfront deck all week. We did day trips to Ocracoke and Beaufort which were easily accessible from Cedar Sunrise. We didn’t fish, but you could fish right from the deck if you wanted to. The house is very basic, but it was nice to unplug for the week....
