Vacation stay

We had a nice quiet vacation. Not far from the beaches. Adam was very helpful and was quick to respond.

Loved the neighborhood. Very quiet and peaceful. Adam was great. Very polite, professional and attentive of our needs. The property was great and place was clean and well kept. Very cute. Loved the fire pit and the location. My partner and I had the best time here. Will definitely be staying here again in the future. When we needed propane for the grill, he was there in less than 5 minutes. 5 stars all around !

Undiluted nature.

There are lots of things to do near here, but at the beginning and end of each day we looked forward to just sitting on the deck with coffee or a drink and enjoying the vast unspoiled views across the salt marsh. The sunrises over the North River are sublime. Fish jump in the canal and fiddler crabs line the banks, so egrets, Ibis, and other shore birds are plentiful. This is a special location, and the tropical style of the trailer fits well. We really enjoyed our stay!.

It was a nice little place

It was a nice stay at this place. There are few minor things like the electric breaker can't handle microwave. So microwave stopped working frequently.

Amazing little get away spot!

It is a tight space in the trailer but cozy and comfortable. We cannot wait to spend more time there during the warmer months to enjoy the outaide amenities!

Get away

Four day get away. The place is near town and it is out by a low key low land. It has what you need. The person managing everything does a good job of getting back if there are any needs. Cool little place for a quick get away.

Retreat-like

This property really lent itself to relaxation and enjoying the outdoors. Location is excellent with marsh views as far as the eye can see and a lovely canal for paddle boarding and kayaking. I loved having the outdoor shower and fire pit for the evenings. Plenty of seating for sunning, lounging around and a bonus hammock which I really enjoyed! Thanks for the great stay and being so responsive!

Beautiful view and great location

We enjoyed our stay. The fridge and freezer were not working but Adam was quick to let us know and brought over a mini fridge. The view was beautiful and quiet. The kayaks and paddle boards are easy to access but there are no life jackets. This camper does not sleep 6- comfortably it would sleep 2. It also doesn't have wifi as stated in the description. Overall, the camper is small but very well decorated, it was super clean, close to all things, and had the most beautiful sunrises.

Awesome area, some opportunities

The view by the waterway is absolutely stunning. Awesome area for fishing even if i had some poor luck. time it right, getting in the water during low tide will make it impossible to return. Biggest complaint was lack of privacy with the blinds you can see everything and although the listing make's it seem more remote there are 3 other home with pretty clear line sight of the RV. We brought our own pillows and blanket, never used the wifi and we ate out for every meal so i wouldnt be able to comment on anything related to that. The RV was clean for us; i did find the cleaner smell to be a little strong so perhaps a few candles to light would have been good to have initially. Bring bug spray NC bugs are relentless!!! Pros - awesome area to stay in. -absolutely gorgeous views at night looking over the marsh -Access to Kayaks! -Bed was EXTREMELY comfortable -RV was clean upon arrival -front porch string lights, tiki lamps and fire pit were also really cool to use at night - Adam was very friendly Cons - No privacy- blinds are completely useless please change these -closer neighbors than the listing shows. - it does get very warm in bedroom so we had to buy a room fan to be able to sleep more comfortably. - it could have been me but i could not get front door to lock from the inside i had to use the key to lock door from the outside and then shut the door - the 2 times i had reached out to Adam it did take aboout hour to get a response. Could have been anomaly.

A lot of potential, but falls short.

This property has a ton of potential. Unfortunately, we found the online listing to be inaccurate. Pros: Great proximity to Beaufort and several great fishing spots -- we even caught bait in the canal Beautiful View Roomy Outdoor Shower Bed is very comfy; I wouldn't put my enemy on the couch. Cons: -Little Silverware, no hand soap in bathroom. -There was sand in the inside shower, indicating that it hadn't been cleaned. The induction cooktop was dusty, cobwebs in the corners. We had to clean before feeling comfortable. It appears that the linens and towels were clean. -Wifi was in and out for various reasons. -The bathroom floor is soft, indicating water damage. This causes the toilet to rock around and isn't very confidence inspiring. The cold water knob on the bathroom sink was also broken. -Little privacy: The RV is situated on a "private" boat ramp, but the ramp is private to the subdivision/community and the owner's friends. Unfortunately, one of the owner's friends showed up and was disruptive (knows the owner by name and keeps a kayak there). She beat on our door for help with her kayak and showed up multiple times (increasingly intoxicated), somehow shutting off the water every time she came. She advised us that she is a bit of a hot mess while drinking from a liquor bottle in one hand and chasing it with a beer in the other. She said she'd be back to use the fire pit, but never came back. -Curtains hide nothing at night, especially if the lights are on.

Beautiful Weekend Getaway

My husband and I rented this little place to just get away for our anniversary. We love to fish so we were outside by the canal most of the time. The sunrises and sunsets are GORGEOUS. The camper is clean and neat and was all we needed! If there is a breeze there are no mosquitoes so just being a little bug spray. However, there are tiki torches with citronella that help. Adam is very responsive and is a wonderful host. The neighborhood is quiet. There are also some chickens there and I absolutely loved seeing them every day!! It’s close to Harkers Island and there are a LOT of places to sit and fish and put your boat in. We enjoyed our stay very much!!

Anniversary Getaway

We had a great time at Adam’s place! It was a charming adventure the sunrise views, the chickens, the kayaks and paddle boards, the wildlife. It truly is a wonderful place for the outdoors enthusiasts. My husband and I came for our 20th anniversary and we had a great time bonding in this sweet rustic camper oasis. The fire pit and bocce ball set were a lot of fun as well. The art work and decor inside were on point and amazing my favorite was the red drum painting. One of my favorite fish! I wouldn’t mind coming back with the kids and having them camp in our tent. Thanks Again ADAM!

Great Camper by the water.

This was such a cute nice little spot on a super private road no traffic at all it was SO much closer to the water than I realized the camper it self was really cute and clean. The couch was a little uncomfortable but we didn’t spend much time on it. We took the kayaks out and fished in the water nearby it was so beautiful there and one of the best sunrises I’d ever seen! I loved it and I’ll be back for sure!

Glamping

Once I was able to relax from the worries of the world, I really enjoyed myself! Adam’s camper is a fun spot in the midst of the authentic, everyday life of Beaufort, tides and all. Adam is very responsive should you have questions, and the details of the property are wonderful, including a very hot hot tub, hammock and fire pit that’s ready to go. It’s camping with comfort!

BEAUTIFUL, relaxing, and cozy

This camper is the perfect getaway! My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights and we couldn’t ask for a better stay! The view is beautiful, looks like it came out of a magazine. There was a tropical storm came through during our stay and the camper did not even move, it was sturdy. The inside stove did not work but the grill outside worked perfect! All other appliances work as they should. The bed is comfortable! The outside shower was incredible! The inside shower was also good, small but expected. We loved the chickens, it felt like home. The fishing was good in the river. We did hang up black cheap blankets for some more privacy. The location is perfect! We didn’t have to travel more than 30 minutes to get to anything! Town is 10 minutes away and the people in Beaufort is wonderful people! I just can’t say enough about how much we loved this place and the location of it. I would 10/10 recommend to our friends and family! We even recommended this place when we were just out and about.

Great cozy getaway!

Wonderful stay! Adam responded to messages promptly before our stay. Property is picturesque. River is peaceful, spent lots of time enjoying it w our dog. Lots of wildlife to see. Check in instructions were minimal & no check out instructions. I prefer more details for check in&out. Made sure to be extra thorough when leaving! Fire pit was great. Lighter provided was dead so we had to get creative. Chicken coop is not noted in the listing. Rooster is an early riser. Someone comes daily to feed them. Kayaks were dirty and filled with water. We cleaned them out. Store them upside down so they don’t fill up. Attempted 2 hoses on the property to clean kayaks & bathe our dog after beach but hoses are collapsible type & water ran through the fabric. Check the tides for kayaking. low tide drains the river almost completely. Water pressure in the showers aren’t great. Indoor was minimal so we used the outdoor only.Plenty of towels provided! Outdoor shower curtains could use weights or Velcro so they don’t fly open while you’re in there. The living area is great, everything you need in a small space. 2 night stand fans & 1 stand up fan. Bedroom doesn’t benefit much from AC. Blinds let a lot of light in the mornings & inside visible at night when the lights are on. We were able to cover the bedroom windows with towels. We fit a 36x22x24 dog crate. They provide broom and swiffer mop for tidying. Overall, no large issues. Just sharing our full experience w/ detail. Would 100% come back

Perfect anniversary stay

We really enjoyed our stay here for our anniversary! Areas that were 5 out of 5 stars: The neighborhood was quiet The location is beautiful We had dishes and soaps already there for us Check-in was SUPER easy The bed is comfortable Fans and window unit keep the trailer cool (but not cold) Areas that were 4 out of 5 stars: There is a chicken coop now (which I don’t think is listed), and someone stopped by a few times to give them water. The blinds are bamboo, so during the day, you can’t see into the camper, but at night, you can see all the way through. (The owner did tell us we could hang towels, but I could never figure out a good way to do that) We will definitely be booking again when we return to the area!
