Serene and peaceful coastal stay
Hanni is an outstanding hostess. She was very responsive to us arriving to the property as we gave her little notice when we departed from the airport. The little cottage is unmatched. The grounds around the property are so peaceful and much larger than we thought. We loved the sun patio and the view from our room. The cottage is so cozy yet spacious enough to fill your every need. We are already dreaming of coming back to stay. I would book this property again and again. Incredibly clean and full of charm! We arrived late and enjoyed a restaurant down in town nearby 15 min drive. They usually require reservations but it’s worth trying to get in without one. Other places we enjoyed. (The off season many shops in scopello were closed as well as the main beach). Ristorante Pizzeria La Duchessa Le Grazie Pizzeria- Ristorante Tropical Bar - coffee and pastry Scopello local Solea Azienda Agricola - coffee pastry, egg breakfast, delicious hand made pasta. Farm to table. * super close to bnb highly recommend! Open in the off season. Tonnara di Scopello - closed in the off season but we enjoyed the viewpoint.

Excellent choice for peace and location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful peaceful get away. Though the cabin is small and cooking facilities limited it was perfect for the two of us . We appreciated the security gate access and the private seaside access. While there are 125 steps down to the sea it was worth very bit is exercise to swim in that beautiful sea. There are several ropes that do require replacement on the trek down and we would urge you to bring water shoes . We would have our morning coffee on the patio overlooking the sea every morning - then a swim - what ever afternoon exploring adventure we had planned - back to our oasis - Apero Spritzer- nap - dinner -watch the stars appear on our patio . Total relaxation. There is a wonderful garden market just down the road that not only supplies fresh vegetable's / oils/honey/lunch they also serve dinner ! Grocery market / pharmacy on the same road. It was easy access to Trapani - Palermo airport - two beaches close by with chair and umbrella rental available . Hanni and her handy man Cipriano made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable . We would not hesitate to book here once again . Thank you Hanni !

Amazing holiday place overlooking the sea
We spent a fantastic week at this property. The house has everything you need and we spent all our time on one of the terraces with views over the beautiful cove. We loved the private access down to the beach, and snorkeling along the rocky coast. Hanni made us feel so welcome and was just a fantastic host. She was always happy to help with advice or just to have a nice chat. We hope to come back soon.

What an incredible place to stay.
We absolutely loved our three night stay at Giovanna’s place. It is basically in Scopello, the shops and beach being a one minute drive north, and the southern entrance to Zingaro less than ten minutes. The house is situated up on the cliffs overlooking the marvellous Sicilian coast and Tyrrhenian Sea. There is a private staircase down to the water where we had ritual morning and late afternoon swims. Expect mesmerising sunsets and sunrises. The house itself is simple and cozy, but was adequate, particularly given we spent most of out time outdoors. THe kitchen is basic, but we still cooked three delicious dinners. Giovanna is the sweetest host who met us personally at check-in, and kissed us goodbye at checkout. Can’t recommend this place more.

Special Seaside Cottage
We where in Scopello for a week for our sons wedding . Giovanna is a wonderful host and her property is very special. The cottage is small but has everything you could need . Cold A/C and lovely water pressure . The view and private staircase to the Mediterranean is a great feature . We swam 3 days so calm and protected. I had a beautiful Siamese cat that kept us company . Truly a great escape and close to the Tonnera and Scopello city square and fabulous market and restaurants. Could not have been better !

Our 3 day stay was too short!!!
Wonderful wonderful wonderful! From the sweet Giovanna to the gorgeous view and private access to crystal clear water! There was even a puppy to play with bonus!! The cottage was quaint and very clean and well equipped with everything you need for a great vacation. Fantastic location too! We are coming back and staying for at least a week if not more next time!!

Lovely little cottage with spectacular private access to the sea. This place is a dreamy romantic spot. It’s small but has everything you need got a seaside holiday. Our host Hanni is also lovely and respectful of our privacy. Would go back!

Nice place on the sea.

Hanni‘s house is in the perfect location. Beautiful views, organic market , coffee bar all within walking distance. Scopello for dining. The apartment is small but so clean and cosy and everything you need. Hanni is warm and welcoming and close by for any questions. She was very accommodating. Would stay again !

A great stay at Scopello
It was a true pleasure spending 4 nights at Hanni’s Cottage. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, and appointed with all the amenities for a very enjoyable stay. It’s perfectly located on a large parcel of land that is part of the coastline of the Tyrrhenian Sea, and a five minute drive to either Scopello or the Zingaro Nature Reserve. You have two patio’s which you can spend hours enjoying the views over a bottle(s) of wine, and your own access to a secluded private section of the coastline with very easy access to great swimming. There’s a ladder embedded in the rocks that allows for easy entry and exit from the water. It is peaceful, private and the views are unbeatable. Hanni is charming, and graceful, and was a very kind host. Communication while booking and leading up to our stay was very easy, and the check-in was a breeze. Hanni’s cottage is a real gem and when the time came it was hard to leave. We recommend staying at Hanni’s Cottage.

Fantastic overall experience!
The location is absolutely perfect, within the well preserved nature and at the very waterfront. First, you are hit by the breath-taking view, from the patio as well as from inside the cottage. Following the charming stairs down the cliff you will very soon reach a private ledge/patio with sunbeds right by the clear blue water. The proximity and the privacy makes the lazy days even more comfortable. The cottage itself is cozy and holds all the necessary amenities. A couple of minutes away you will find a boutique with the most delicious italian delicacies, perfect for lunch at home or on the day-trip. The hosts are nothing but lovely. Kind, service-minded, genuine and generally warmhearted persons making the stay simply wonderful. We highly recommend this accomodation and we are very grateful for discovering this jewel.

Amazing holiday
Perfect location, the cottage is everything we wanted, the terrace areas have the most fantastic views, perfect for breakfast or a glass or two of wine in the evening watching the sun go down. Our first walk down to the sea took our breath away, completely private the water was warm and the snorkelling was amazing. Hanni the owner bought us fresh towels and one morning a plate of freshly picked plumbs. Thank you Hanni, you house is truly amazing and we will defiantly be back next year. 10 out of 10.

Wonderful stay in Scopello
What can I say? The cottage and location are perfect. Hanni was a lovely host who made us feel right at home. Access to the water was amazing - it was too chilly for us to swim in November, but the private space by the water was perfect for reading with a cup of coffee. The cottage is attached to the main house, where Hanni lives, but we felt complete privacy. It's a 5 minute drive to Scopello town and a 10 minute drive to the Zingaro reserve, which I highly recommend. No complaints!

PEACEFUL AND COSY 'COTTAGE' IN IDYLLIC COUNTRYSIDE COASTAL SITE
Idyllic location, with loudest noise being the sea breaking against the rocky bathing area below the house. Best bits - the two nice sitting areas overlooking the gardens and towards the sea, plus great private swimming and snorkelling area a short walk down the path. Indoors cosy but adequate - good window insect screens and provision of items (especially useful to us British) such as electric kettle, toaster and microwave. Plus the all-important washing-up liquid! The owner was extremely welcoming, as were her two friendly dogs, and we really hope that we can return here soon.

A truly beautiful, magical place. A small, but cosy cottage adjoining the owner's property which has a lovely terrace attached. The views are breathtaking and there is a private pathway to the sea. The owners allow privacy but are very helpful when needed. We loved it here.

We had a very pleasant stay with a warm welcome. The cottage is perfect for two people. The area is quit, however small towns are nearby. The view on the sea is amazing. There are private stairs tot the sea in which you can swim and snorkel. Close to the national park "zingaro".

Spectacular views, quiet location, delightful hosts,
A joyous February week spent mostly on the terrace gazing at the truly spectacular view from this highly recommended little property. Sun, sea, mountains, birdsong: what more could you want? Wonderfully quiet spot with approachable, friendly yet discreet hosts. The little cottage has a couple of idiosyncrasies - but nothing to put us off recommending it whole-heartedly. If you stay in the off-season, though, hope for good weather (as the cottage isn't designed for spending the day) and be prepared for closures at local restaurants/shops etc. The location is excellent - a stone's through from the beautiful Zingaro Nature Reserve, a short drive to Segesta, Erice, Trapani, Palermo... oh and about 30 steps from a private turquoise plunge-pool of the med.

Die Lage des Häuschens mit zwei Terrassen und dem Blick auf die große Bucht ist fantastisch. Besonders schön sind die 135 Stufen durch den Garten die direkt ins Meer führen. Unsere Gastgeberin war super nett. Sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ganz in der Nähe.

Ein kleines Paradies am Meer
Wir waren sofort begeistert von der fantastischen Lage in einem wunderschönen Garten direkt am Meer. Über eine Treppe gelangt man hinunter zu einer kleinen privaten Badestelle in den Felsen. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist grandios. Ruhe und Erholung pur. Das Haus ist nicht groß, aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Die Gastgeberin hat uns ausgesprochen herzlich empfangen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und möchten uns bei ihr auch noch einmal für die Tipps und netten Gespräche bedanken. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn sich die Möglichkeit ergibt.

Hanni war einen super Gastgeber, sie hat uns herzlich Empfangen und war für jede Frage verfügbar. Die Unterkunft war gemütlich und sehr sauber. Am meisten hat uns die Terasse und den Zugang zur Bucht gefallen. Wir waren zwar Anfangs November in Sizilien, aber die Wasser Temperaturen waren immer noch sehr angenehm, daher auch super zum schwimmen und schnorcheln. Die Bucht war voller Fische, wir werden die Unterkunft in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten! Vielen herzlichen Dank

Paradiesischer Platz am Meer
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit bei Hanni. Ruhiger Platz mit eigenem Strand und traumhafter Terrasse. Die Wohnung ist wirklich klein, aber wenn man, wie wir, bis Ende Oktober sommerliches Wetter hat, spielt das keine Rolle. Hanni und alle sind sehr freundlich. Es hat einen Wiederholungsfaktor für uns. Einzig was man wissen sollte, ist, das es noch ein weiteres Ferienhaus gibt, das sich den kleinen Privatstrand teilt!

Fantastisk vackert läge. Vidsträckt havsutsikt, trappa ner till privat klippbad med kristallklart vatten. Mycket trevlig värdinna och hennes medhjälpare. Mycket lyhörda på allt vad du behöver. Hjälpsamma. Stugan är mycket liten. Sovrummet är ok men vi var där i oktober när nätterna är svalare. Det kan nog bli mycket varmt där under sommarmånader, Köket är trångt, knappast någon arbetsyta. Svårt att laga mat. Kylskåpet håller dåligt temperatur och behöver frostas av eller bytas. Två terrasser med parasoller. Härligt att sitta där och äta frukost eller njuta av ljumma kvällar. Utemöbler behöver dock förnyas. Flera stolar sönder. De tidigare mycket höga värderingar gjorde att vi valde stället. Vi skulle nog göra det igen pga läget, vi skulle kanske göra det igen men visa förbättringar i standarden är nödvändiga.

Traumhafter Ort um die Seele baumeln zu lassen
Die Terrasse mit dem wunderschönen Aussicht und der privaten Strand ist unbeschreiblich. Eigentlich wolten wir Ausflüge in der Umgebung machen, aber dann war dieser traumhafter Ort und Strand und die Ausflüge haben verloren. Wir verbrachten die Zeit damit, diese friedliche Ruhe mit herrlichem Aussicht zu geniessen oder in das erfrischende, glasklares Wasser zu springen um zu schwimmen oder zu schnorcheln um verschiedene wunderschöne farbliche Fische und Felsen zu bewundern. Vielen lieben Dank liebe Hanni, dass wir bei dir wohnen dürften und dass du uns in der Dunkelheit bei der Ankunft abgeholt hast. Und wir vermissen deine Hund Hulk sehr! Baccione❤️

Traumhaft schön und erholsam
Wir sind sehr herzlich von unseren lieben Gastgeberin Hanni begrüßt worden und haben uns hier sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Ferienhaus ist für 2 Personen perfekt ausgestattet und alles ist sehr sauber. Die Lage über dem Meer ist traumhaft schön, der Garten ist liebevoll angelegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Die zwei Terrassen und der private Zugang zum Meer sind super, so hat man stets die Möglichkeit, sich für einen Sonnen- oder Schattenplatz zu entscheiden. Hanni möchte immer, dass sich ihre Gäste wohl fühlen, da ist die Kommunikation auf deutsch natürlich auch sehr hilfreich. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank, liebe Hanni.

The perfect oasis
My partner and I had the best time!! We wanted to spend sone relaxing time away from any trouble and found exactly that at Giovannas oasis. The private sea access is incredible and the hosts are heartwarming. You have a cute supermarket just 2 minutes away with authentic italian food. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem kleinen, wunderbar gelegenen Häuschen. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet mit allem, das man braucht. Die Vermieterin spricht deutsch und italienisch und ist superfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Das absolute Highlight sind aber die zwei Terrassen. Es gibt eine direkt vor dem Eingang und eine weitere, ein paar Schritte entfernt, direkt über dem Meer inmitten eines riesigen, wunderschönen Gartens. Von da aus geht eine Treppe runter zu einem privaten Zugang zum Meer. Die Gegend ist traumhaft und man kann sehr viel unternehmen. Leider war eine Woche viel zu kurz und wir möchten unbedingt noch einmal wiederkommen.

Süßer Bungalow in traumhafter Umgebung
Wir haben den Aufenthalt trotz des schlechten Wetters sehr genossen. Das Domizil ist zwar sehr klein, ist aber mit allem nötigen ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Es verfügt über zwei schöne Terrassen mit tollem Meerblick in einem blühendem Garten. Der private Zugang zum Meer ist toll. Hanni ist sehr lieb und gastfreundlich, wir konnten uns immer mit allem an sie wenden. Das Häuschen liegt direkt an Hannis Haus, trotzdem ist man für sich und hat seine Privatsphäre. Wir bekamen regelmäßig Besuch von einer lieben Katze und Hannis kleinem Welpen, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Vielen Dank für alles

Sehr schöne Umgebung, fürsorgliche Betreuung
Es handelt sich um eine kleine Ferienwohnung mit sehr großer Terrasse und riesigem Garten, mit Meerzugang. Der Blick von der Terrasse aus ist sehr schön, der große Garten ist sehr gepflegt, man kann von verschiedenen Plätzen auf das Meer schauen. Im nahegelegen Ort befinden sich gute Restaurants und Geschäfte. Die Vermieterin ist freundlich, aufmerksam und fürsorglich. Der Platz eignet sich sehr gut zur Erholung!

Sensationeller Standort
Die Wohnung liegt sensationell schön. Die Erreichbarkeit von vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist ebenfalls gegeben (Segesta, Zingaro, San Vito, Scopello, Palermo etc.). Wer es idyllisch mag, ist hier genau richtig. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht. Habe viel selbst gekocht. Ausstattung dazu ist vorhanden. Hanni ist eine sehr liebevolle Gastgeberin. Absolut empfehlenswert

Fantastic! Superbe for romantic holidays!
The cottage itself is cute and the location few meters from the sea is perfect. For those who love very quiet area and beautiful swimming in a cristal clear water (even at night with the only stars’ light !), this is the place to be! And the hostess is very kind and helpful. Wonderful days in this scenic place!
