4 star is absolutely over rated, this facility presents itself with many outdated features, you get what you pay for, friendly staff and good location, needs mayjor lyft to attract customers

Very tired and very poor air conditioning
The hotel is very old and tired and needs an urgent renovation. There is almost no A/C and the room was always uncomfortably hot

Budget one-night stop. Great breakfast!
This was a one-night stop en route to a holiday destination. While the room was spacious and clean, it was excessively warm. Also, the toilet refused to flush and the shower head would not hold position, so sprayed against the back wall. Had we stayed longer we might have asked for a change of room. However, all was forgiven in the morning with the extremely good continental breakfast, which had a wide selection to choose from including some hot foods.

Rooms were very clean, we were just a very few of the guests in a large hotel. The service was excellent. Room was very hot despite local weather only in the 70's. Awesome view and very beautiful experience at Montecassino Abbey.

A good experience.
The hotel is in a great position if you are planning to visit the Monastery at Montecassino, it was about a 10minute drive up the winding roads and the view from the top was excellent. Although very dated, the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. We did have a problem with the air conditioning in the room during the night and the night staff arranged another room for us which was much better and allowed us to get some sleep. We ate in the restaurant and was impressed by the food. My only point for improvement would be to work on the welcome at the front desk when you first arrive. We wasn't given any information about the area, where the restaurant was or what time breakfast was served.

Room is very old and dated, reception staff spoke no English at all, food in restaurant for dinner was terrible, breakfast was even worse. Spa was filthy

Overall a positive impression. However the walls between rooms had little soundproofing as conversation and snoring at night could easily be heard from the adjoining room.

Dated hotel, in need of modernisation
The hotel was very dated and in need of modernisation. Cleanliness was an issue in the dinning room, however the staff were very friendly and helpful. If the hotel was modinised it would be ideally placed for patrons to explore the Second World War Battlefield of Monte Cassino. The hotel is large enough to accomodate large parties with ample parking. The town of Cassino is a 30 minute walk from the hotel.

Worth the money. Not everyone speaks English, though all aim to please. Lots of great WWII sites in the area. Off major highway; easy to find with GPS.

I wouldn't choose to or recommend a stay here.
Requested a twin room got a double. Location not ideal far from any food places an station. Left a ring there and have confirmation from them they have it but have not have had a reply to my last few emails. Insanely frustrating knowing they have your property and are not assisting returning it. I do don't find this professional or customer focused at all.

Lucky last-minute find
Found this hotel very last minute as a good place to stay on our way back to Rome from a drive along the Amalfi Coast. Close to the Abbey Montecassino (worth a visit). Rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were comfy with great pillows. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was tasty and complimentary.

Satisfied all of our basic needs
We stayed one night as we headed north to France. The hotel satisfied all of our basic needs. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was close to the autostrada making it a convenient lay over.

Friendly comfortable hotel
Our room, which was on the 4th floor, was modern, clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room but these could be obtained from machines downstairs. I understand this is typical for this part of Italy. We don’t speak Italian but the staff, most of whom spoke some English, were incredibly friendly and were always very willing to provide help and advice. They were particularly helpful with advice on how to use the train service to Rome. Travelled as a couple in August 2014.

Off season...
The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. Location was easy to find and room was spacious. WiFi was weak, but we were able to get a hard line connection in the room. Comfortable and friendly, we were one of only a few guests in this big Hotel.

Good Hotel and Wonderful service
While staying at the hotel unfortunately our Son was taken ill (nothing to do with the hotel) and the staff was so helpful I can not thank them enough! The hotel had to call out 2 doctors over 2 days ans unfortunately our son ended up in Hospital and the staff they helped with translation when we was in hospital they passed messages and kept an eye on my 80 year old mother in law who was concerned with what was going on. I would not hesitate to go back Forum Palace Hotel!

convenient access from autostrada without going into downtown Cassino. easy to locate road to Monte Cassino [one left turn about a mile down the street]. Restaurant had a good dinner menue, attentive service, satisfactory breakfast. Staff was very friendly, helpful, provided free water bottles for our departure journey. I have stayed in Cassino several times before and this was my bet hotel experience.

Good Stopover Hotel
This was a very pleasant hotel, ideal if you are exploring Cassino or travelling between Rome and Naples. It was very quiet the night we stayed, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the general standard of the hotel was very good for the price.

Good value for money in Cassino
We stayed as a family of four, our room featured 4 single beds lined up in a row which was a little odd but workable. The decor of the hotel was reminiscent of the tv show Dynasty from the 80s. The place was clean and the hotel food and wait staff was fabulous! The free parking, free wifi and free breakfast was very appreciated and we would be happy to stay again.

Stopover in Cassino
Although the staff of the Forum Palace did not really speak the best English (I don't fault them because I speak no Italian whatsoever) they were very friendly and helpful and attended to all my accommodation and dining needs during my short stop in Cassino to see the Abbey and the War Memorials. The hotel was very well kept and nice, but during my stay over Easter I think I was the only one staying in the entire hotel, which made it seem very empty and eerie. I also had dinner in the restaurant during the two evenings I was there, and the service was absolutely outstanding and the prices were reasonable. Lastly, it is helpful to have a car in Cassino if you visit as public transportation is less than efficient in the city and the hotel is about a 25-30 minute walk away from the train station. The hotel will provide you with a transfer from the airport if you are like me and will not have a car, however.

Forum Palace Hotel
We as a family of 4 used this hotel as a stop gap on the way to the Amalfi coast. Hotel is clean and tidy. The breakfast was very basic and the dinners were nothing to write home about. Basically it was a clean comfortable bed for the night. There was a slight language barrier with English not being very strong amoung the reception or resturant staff. In fact the best English speaker was the cleaning maid.

Nice quality - but quiet
We were touring Italy by car, and were looking for somewhere to stop halfway between Naples and Rome, so it didn't matter to us that the Forum wasn't near anything much except the autostrada. The interior of the hotel itself was reminiscent of a grand hotel of yesteryear, though the decor seemed newly done and clean. We arrived in mid August but the hotel was almost completely deserted - I think we might have been the only guests, which seemed a little bit odd, considering how nice the scenery was. The location if the hotel near what looked like a cheap supermarket probably didn't help, and there were no open shops in the village to buy water or supplies. We ate in the hotel on the evening of our stay, and the food was excellent, and the service very good. Breakfast was the usual buffet style continental - hard rolls, cheeses, meat, etc. which seems designed to make you eat only just enough to stop you being hungry, but not varied enough to be luxurious. The view from our window was to the rear of the hotel, where a fine hill rises rapidly with some nice villas. At ground level the concrete revetting holding back the excavation of the hill was a little bit messy with builder's refuse and air-con units, but as long as you didn't look down, the hill was nice. Overall, the staff were nice, the room was clean and well-done (they even had room fridge with drinks) and TV. The only thing which seemed odd was how quiet the hotel was, even with the fairly remote location I would have expected a few more guests around in August. If you're looking for a destination hotel, then not sure there's enough in the area to satisfy. But if like us, you need a stop-over, then this is clean, comfortable, with good food and nice staff. If a little quiet.

Ero già stata in questo hotel che trovo comodo per la vicinanza all' uscita autostradale. Tutto il personale é stato gentile, efficiente e rapido nel servizio. Le camere sono datate (anni 80 come specificato nella prenotazione) quindi non bisogna aspettarsi grandi lussi. Buona la colazione.

Come già scritto da altri, la struttura è datata. La stanza aveva il copriletto con macchie d'unto, il materasso con le molle a vista che si conficcavano nelle costole, una finestra che non si reggeva aperta e senza imposte e un'aria condizionata (sempre accesa) rumorosa e non gestibile dalla stanza. Dietro alla testata del letto, la parete divisoria è fatta con materiale praticamente inconsistente tanto da sembrare che gli occupanti della stanza adiacente dormissero nel mio letto...se poi si ha la sfortuna di avere un vicino che russa come un dinosauro, la nottata in bianco è assicurata.

Personale cordiale ed efficiente, un bel albergo, peccato per la manutenzione arrangiata negli anni. Ho alloggiato in una camera confort, frigobar vuoto, aria condizionata non regolabile, saliscendi della doccia rotto e pieno di incrostazioni di sapone degli ospiti precedenti. Arredamento e rubinetteria degli anni 80,,riparata alla meglio.
