"This cozy guesthouse inside the old walls of medieval Obidos was a nice place to stay. It’s not fancy and has no on-site staff but it’s very clean, well maintained and in a great location. We had some trouble finding it but that was completely my fault & when we called, the staff member could not have been nicer and met us in person to get us straightened out! Our room was quiet, but like many old buildings in Europe, there was no elevator or a/c. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay."

"Très beau séjour. Personnel accueillant. Hébergement bien situé à l'intérieur des remparts; c'est magique! Stationnement gratuit à l’extérieur de la ville fortifiée à environ 5 min à pied. Petites attentions lors de notre arrivée (breuvage, noix et message personnalisé). Chambre d’hôtel avec vue sur le rempart. Le restaurant de l'hôtel ( Letra) est très bien. Bon petit-déjeuner. Il s'agit d'une excellente option pour un arrêt à Óbidos."

"The staff here is second to none when it comes to accommodating their guests! We had our wedding in Sao Martinho do porto and many of my guests stayed at Storytellers. The staff was overly accommodating to my guests giving many of these seasoned travelers a great experience. Parking is difficult as you would imagine for a beach town in July! The beach here is beautiful. The restaurants in the hotel are amazing . They blew away our expectations. The bar with its waterviews is absolutely gorgeous at sundown."

"Great service, beautiful view of the room, excellent breakfast and location. The restaurant where you have breakfast has a gorgeous view as well, right on the beach. They have a spa, sauna, indoor and outdoor pool with salt water, the space is limited on the indoor spa area. Free parking, but might be limited if a lot of people are at the beach, since you share with another hotel and beach goers. But there is other free parking nearby. The rooms are clean and updated, lots of nature and beach elements, the balcony with the ocean view is stunning, the only thing is no ac, only this small portable one. Free filtered water in the room! I would definitively recommend staying here, it’s such a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Service is 5 stars! "
