"We used the Riverton Old Post for a short stay in the middle of a long road trip between New Orleans - Oklahoma and Atlanta. It proved to be a great base to meet relatives in Miami and Joplin as we couldn't find any other suitable accommodations in those places. This is a wonderful nostalgic property and was one of the most comfortable places we stayed at during our whole trip. It's such a pretty space with a walking path all the way around it and flowers in bloom. It's very charming and peaceful, which I wanted for a recovery day. "We had our "cousin retreat" at this wonderful house with 5 cousins traveling from across the country. The house was perfect! The decor is fun, the neighborhood is peaceful, and the host was lovely. There was more than enough room for us to spread out as well as great spaces to hang out together. We enjoyed coffee on the back patio listening to the birds and saw cardinals in the back yard. Located only minutes from the square with its quaint shops. Highly recommend!"
