Beach access is a couple blocks away, but very limited so far as area for setting up pop ups and chairs. The Kuerig coffee maker did not work properly and caused a mess. There was no in house binder giving instructions on fireplace operation or other amenities. Overall comfortable and relaxing."

"I am willing to pay extra for this place because it is walk in to the gondola. Except when the gondola doesn't run which seems to be about 50% of the time in my experience over the years. No biggy, in that case we have an alternative: drive to the CA main lodge ... except surprise surprise starting this year you need to reserve parking ... and of course 'on the day of' there is no more parking available ... so Heavenly says take the free shuttle bus ! Except when the gondola is closed there is...
