" I was SO pleasantly surprised by my experience! The outside looks rough, BUT the inside is unexpectedly quaint, vintage, friendly, and safe. Trees painted on the walls, collections in cases, and a big grandfather-type clock. Welcoming atmosphere feels a little like a small town tourist spot. Building interior is somewhat worn out, but SO nicely cleaned and cared for with lovely touches (fancy-stacks of towels, freshly cleaned and sealed-until-first use-toilet, etc) in big, airy, pleasantly decorated room. I had a two-bed with unexpected fridge, microwave, counter/sink and table—just my experience, not sure if it’s in all rooms. 24-hour front desk with staff that were kind, patient, and friendly. Nice TV with cable/guide lots of free movies playing. The continental breakfast was simple but appreciated in a big event room with nice view. Overall Soooo much nicer than similarly priced motel (Motel 6)! For any negatives: Parking really got limited at night, but there were apparently spaces further away at their connected buildings available. Screen on window almost coming off. *No security latch on door (just deadbolt)! **The room keys were difficult to use because of magnetic strips, and computers at front check-in were slow. I wish there were a few smaller tables or armchairs in breakfast room for little groups, it is awkward to sit at big round table! Never again, Motel 6! "

"Such a beautiful facility—immaculately clean, spacious, and surrounded by absolutely breathtaking natural scenery. The upstairs loft with two queen beds and a bathroom was perfect for our family of six. Downstairs offered even more convenience with another bathroom, a kitchenette, a dining table, and a couch with a pullout bed. We especially loved unwinding on the deck in the evening, relaxing in the rocking chairs. Highly recommend—especially for a longer stay if possible!"

"For being in the cheaper price side of motels, this motel was good. It was very clean, housekeeping cleaned the rooms daily and restocked. For being a double queen room it was big with a sofa bed. It had a lil kitchen area. For the price it was better than I expected."

"We were traveling to Carson City with our adult son, and the bungalow was nearly perfect for us. It was an easy walk to the Capitol and the State Museum, with lots of restaurants nearby. LA Bakery was terrific for breakfast on Saturday. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The AC and Internet were good, too."
