"The view was spectacular!"

"We had a lovely stay at Pine Inn. The location truly can’t be beat—right in the heart of Carmel and less than a 10-minute walk to the beach, which made everything feel easy and accessible. I was traveling with my infant, and the hotel staff were incredibly accommodating. They provided a crib and even a refrigerator for storing her food, which made a huge difference in keeping our routine smooth and stress-free. Parking is definitely limited, so that’s something to keep in mind. We were fortunate to find a spot right outside the hotel, but I can see how it could be tricky during busier times. Overall, a charming and convenient place to stay, especially for families looking for a central location with thoughtful touches."

"Very convenient. Nice breakfast. Parking good. Ours was covered and close to car. Affordable for Carmel. We did not need it, but did notice there was no A/C in our room. It never got above the high 60s at the beginning of May. Not sure how the summer would be though. Would definitely definitely return, if not hot. There was a market/Deli right next to the hotel which was extremely convenient for quick meals or snacks and drinks."

"We loved our stay here! We didn’t want to leave and wish we booked longer. It was very reasonably priced too. Our room was very comfortable and clean. It was also beautifully decorated. The people were very friendly. There isn’t a lot of parking but we found spaces near the hotel easy enough if there weren’t many spaces. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Easy drive to pebble beach and Monterey. The morning breakfast basket was the best, we loved ours! Would recommend!"

"We checked in and the front desk woman was pretty short with us. She gave us our room key, and we went up to such a small room right by the road. It was really noisy and difficult to get a good nights sleep. There was no curtain on the shower, so it was just the fabric. It was a second floor room, and no elevator so I’m glad I had my husband with me to carry our bags. Otherwise, would have been a struggle. "

"Room was clean and staff helped upgrade my room so I can stay close with the rest of my party. However my friend’s room bath started leaking. Not sure if it got fixed by the time we left. Property is very relaxing"

"What a DISAPPOINTMENT! When we first arrived, we asked why doesn’t our room have a fireplace? The front desk clerk kept insisting our room had a fireplace and it was right underneath the television. We finally asked her to come to our room and show us. So, she goes to our room. Notices there is no fireplace. Goes to the wall where they obviously did contruction on the wall and said “Well you can tell there used to be a fireplace here but it must have been removed.” Then she kept saying “I’m new here, so I don’t know.” That became her response to every question we had. Do not let someone work the front desk if SHE DOESN’T KNOW WHAT SHE’S DOING!! She said the manager would contact me. Which he never did! SO UNPROFESSIONAL! That wasn’t the only disappointment. Garbage was left from the previous guest. Bugs were coming through the window. Whenever we tried to talk to a cleaning person, they would just smile and giggle nervously then walk away. And yes, like previous reviews said. The walls are very thin! You can here people going to the bathroom from the other rooms. Be prepared to get into arguments with other guests in the parking lot because this place has VERY LIMITED PARKING. Customer BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! You have BEEN WARNED!!"
