Our Carmel home and Carmel itself are lovely any time of year and all the wonderful kids in wonderful, colorful costumes go to a particular neighborhood - far from our house. It makes for great adult time - and no incessant doorbell rings. Come forle month at discounted rate) and relax, or work, or workout! Carmel is as wonderful as you have heard and our house is the perfect oasis for a peaceful family or friend or solo/a retreat. Close to town (five minute drive or 13 minute walk) and the beach (seven minute drive and 17 minute hilly walk), in a beautiful and quiet Carmel neighborhood, you'll enjoy our large, sparkling clean, comfortable, and very charming home with its large very private deck, which even has an oak tree growing out of the middle of it! The three bedrooms have very comfortable beds, cozy blankets and great linens, and lots of natural light (and blinds and drapes to make it dark when you want to snooze). The bathrooms are beautifully renovated and large. There is a bonus room off the the living room where one can work, or, better, where the kids can play with our toddler friendly toys. Our favorite part is the large living space, both indoors and out. There is a large deck between the bedroom wing and living room and a balcony in front to watch the sunset, the pileated woodpeckers on the trees across the street, and the multitude of oak tree that abound. The sun streams into the living room to add a warm golden glow in the afternoon and early evening. Sitting on the balcony, you can enjoy a glass of bubbles or wine when watching the sun set over the ocean.
Our wifi is great so work or write your novel here. The surroundings will inspire you! Or cozy up and watch a movie; the living room TV is a Smart TV and in the owner’s suite there is a ROKU.
The walk to the beach and downtown Carmel in 15-19 minutes because of the little hills (FYI - Carmel doesn't believe in sidewalks except in the downtown but you won't have to worry; there is no such thing as rush hour in Carmel) or you can drive there in 5-minutes max; walking TO the beach is easy but walking back in primarily uphill so grab a coffee and pastry to fortify yourself in downtown Carmel on the way back. (Oh - we also supply coffee and tea for your morning wake up.)
We have a heavy discount for longer stays during and happy to work with you for stays longer than 30-days. Talk to us if you would like to kick back in Carmel for a while.
