The pod was clean with everything you might need, and very comfortable beds. We loved the little outdoor area with fire pit too. "Location is excellent accessible to plenty of lovely walks. Very peaceful and quiet - tranquil. Ensure that hot water is avaiable, at best we had luke warm showers - we also had to boil the kettle to wash up. Provide additional towels and an area to dry (air out) towels. It was dark on arrival and very difficult to find our pod additional lighting is required to prevent tripping over and finding your way."

"The lodge was a good size, bigger than we anticipated. There were some items in the lodge that required some maintenance, we told reception and they sent someone round to check these out. They fixed what they could there and then and said they'd sort the rest out once we checked out so as not to disturb us which was fine with us (nothing was critical). The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed."

"Very comfortable lodge in peaceful surroundings with beautiful views. Cannot fault the location and hot tub. Unfortunately there were quite a lot of cobwebs both inside and outside of the lodge. During our stay there was a visit from a window cleaner but the main large window in the living space was not touched. There was a vape from a previous tenant left down the side of the decking also"
