"Blue Bahia feels like family. We quickly learned every staff member’s name, and they made us feel at home. Becca set up a WhatsApp group for us before arrival, ensuring fast, helpful communication. Her daily messages with restaurant specials, entertainment, Roatan history, and local happenings were very useful, including specials from other local restaurants. Our room, The Wave, was spacious, with a full kitchen, breakfast bar, dining table, living room, large bedroom, closet, and a bathroom with double sinks. AC units in both rooms made for comfortable nights The resort’s small size meant it was never crowded, and help was always available. We had a rental car but could have used local cabs—West End and West Bay are close and affordable, and Libby was a great driver. The location is ideal for exploring gardens, nature parks, and avoiding cruise ship crowds. The beach has soft sand, reclining chairs, free paddle boards and kayaks and the reef is an easy swim (or use kayak/paddleboard to get to the reef and tie off on a buoy) for snorkeling. The pool was always clean and cool. Thanks to Jojo, Johnny, Cesar, Jessie, Jericho, Selema, Carlos, Becca, Kim, and Josh for making us feel welcome. Note: The public beach has some auto traffic, and a few yards into the ocean, the sand turns to silt and sea grass due to conservation rules."

Gorgeous private pier with hammocks and lounge chairs to relax, get a massage, watch the sunset, enjoy the quiet. "Miriam was an amazimg hostess. After a long flight from Canada she quickly made us feel comfortable and made the whole pick up/check in easy for us. She went out of the way to help us get around, laundry and cleaning service. She communicated with us easy through Whatsapp. She had a great network of support staff that helped us out during our stay. There was a lovely security man at night. The place was perfect for a couple. There was a private dock we were able to Snorkel off of. The location was close to some amazing restaurants, like Blue Bahia, Sunken Fish, Plan B Pizza, and the Anthony key resort restaurant Ankor Seafood. It was easy to flag a taxi from the main road if needed to get to West End. And it was fun and easy taking the water taxi from the dock, but slightly more money than a land taxi. Would go back again! "

"The property is something out of a dream. I have NEVER experienced something more tranquil and relaxing. The home is beautiful inside and out. When in the living room, you feel as if you are outside. My kids had the most amazing time in the pool and identifying birds, lizards, and frogs.Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is a gourmet chef's fantasy. Lighting troughout is amazing. The speakers were fun for family game night.Wifi was spot on and we never had any issues with communication.Now lets get to the good stuff. Outdoor shower is phenomenal and was the perfect ending to a day at the beach.There is an outdoor gym poolside, and a legit professional gym that leaves you on an endorphin high. This gym is well planned out, clean, huge, and honestly, would make any professional gym owner envious. IFinally, we purchased the driver package, and daily breakfast and traditional Honduran meal package.The driver, Abraham is very informative, kind, and dependable.I saved the most important tidbit of information for last. Please dont cheat yourself. Spend the extra money to have Lariza cook for you. Each and every breakfast was different and phenomenal. The Honduran meal had everyone in awe. But better than her cooking, is her kind and giving spirit. She engaged with all of my children and even allowed my 9 year old daughter to help with meal prep and feeding Long John. She is a gem. I just cannot explain in words how perfect and gentle she was. We love her!"

"The property was amazing, great view of the beach, bed was comfortable, kitchen and outside grill was nice to make meals. Restaurants were nearby so we didn’t cook much though. Our host was super nice, accommodating, and Jose was awesome. He was Johnny on the spot for anything we needed. He was great, can’t say enough good things about him in this summary. The only slight issue if you call it that was the amount of people walking nearby to access the beach. Some of them were pretty loud. Other than that it was a great vacation spot. "
