Five Couples from around the Country who get together once each year and this stay was one of the best!
Great accommodations and very comfortable Home!
It was so nice to find a place on the island where a large group of my family could all stay together. We were on the island for a family wedding at 'Tween Waters Resort. The location of this house was perfect! We enjoyed the pool as it was quite warm during our stay in September. The property was just as described and the online pictures were exactly what we saw. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this beautiful vacation home!
We really enjoyed The Narrows property and the pictures provide good overview of home. Plenty of room for 11 guests. Unfortunately, main refrigerator did not work, but staff was very responsive and assisted with smaller but functional option in timely manner. Kitchen well stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, cooking dishes & utensils. Coffee pot has brew and pod capability. However, for rental price, disappointed with very limited supply of cleaning items: paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, laundry soap, trash bags, dish towels, so must bring extra of your own if staying more than 2 days. New beach chairs & umbrella as well as beach towels and cooler available for use at the home which was wonderful.Easy & close access to beach across the street. The boat pier at home can only be used for fishing, no swimming. No walking or bike trail along road so often drove car 2.5 miles to” town“ for Island market, restaurants and great ice cream shop. Rented bikes but must ride on narrow edge along the road. (Speed limit 25). Still some renovation occurring on island but most things open and overall a very relaxing place to vacation!
The host was fantastic. The house was gorgeous and so expansive. The game room, fishing rods, etc were the cherry on top. We loved the pool and access to the canal!
The Narrows is just as described— beautiful, spacious, and well located. Don’t hesitate to book!

Great location and house was very clean. Appreciated the lawn chairs and umbrellas as we were flying so very convenient. Easy access to the beach for the teens and guys fished off the pier. Worked well for a 3 family vacation with teens .Also host was very responsive to our inquiries ,
We had an amazing experience at The Narrows on Captiva. The house was as advertised and all concerns were promptly addressed. Hard to imagine a better house to enjoy Captiva with family/friends. The sunsets were unforgettable. Each family that came had space for themselves and the common areas were perfect for conversation and relaxation. Definitely recommend to anyone interested in Captiva--- waking up on Blind Pass with a beautiful walk to the beach.
The Narrows was a fantastic house for a long weekend! Our party of 5 adults had plenty of room and privacy. The common areas are also spacious and we had a great time playing pool and ping pong after dinner each night. We only cooked breakfasts but easily could have cooked very nice meals with how well the kitchen was stocked. And 2 dishwashers! There is a nice gas grill on the deck also. The rest of the house is very nicely appointed and had everything we needed. We brought extra TP and soap (iykyk) but didn't need it. There was a cleaning issue with the pool that didn't get remedied until late Saturday before we left early Sunday. We feel it is going to need to be refurbished soon. Even clean it was loosing water and looked dirty. -1/2 star... BUT... everything else was top notch! The property manager was responsive to messages on VRBO. Even how to find some of the bedrooms. Great stay! Would stay again. Thanks!
