made up for that. Its the only 4/5 star hotel near San Gimigiano i could find and the front desk staff were lovely and very helpful. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were good."

"Wonderful hotel on a hill with beautiful views of the landscape around. Fantastic customer service that was very helpful in booking activities for us beforehand (cooking class and dinner in the vineyard at a winery) and so accommodating when we were there. There are roses everywhere on the property that are well taken care of. Pool and jacuzzi were wonderful, rooms were clean, comfortable and good temperature. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back."

The property itself is beautiful and a very convenient location being so close to Montelupo train station. We used this to go in and out of the city only 30 minutes!
