Excellent with good staff.
The rooms vary a lot, some are excellent, some are not so good. Great staff. We have now stayed in 3 rooms during 2 holidays. We loved the room in the L'Ermitage, very roomy and comfortable. Only disadvantage was you had to have breakfast in that area and not at the top of the hill main restaurant which would have been better. We loved the Pool Room, lovely views. We thought we would like the Manor House room but did not like it much and very hot during the power cut.

Great place, excellent prices on rooms
Brilliant accommodation. Excellent location, wonderful staff, large modern room. The hotel has various room options, ours was in new block....we loved it.

Nice place, on a wine estate. Staff very friendly and helpful. Daily breakfast which never seems to change re choice. Impossible to find in the dark!

Great place to stay in Stellenbosch
Great location, African themed room, and breakfast with lovely welcoming staff. Suggest bed and pillows in room could do with replacing. Fabulous onsite restaurant Floreal, had a cosy couch in front of an open fire where we enjoying some delightful wine. Our meal was perfect - especially the fillet steak.

Peaceful location for wine lovers
Good value, spacious room, good views, quiet and peaceful out in the wineland countryside. A problem with the lighting was fixed once we had told them - the room's African decor made the room naturally darker than normal, but the hosts reacted and fixed the problem with the lights, so that is good (if unexpected problems happen, they fix them, what more do you want?), so would stay again.

Excellent stay on wine estate
Total stay was a real pleasure, from room to wine tasting!Small gripe that no breakfast pack or same was offered in place of breakfast when we had to leave early due to flight home... Never the less to be highly recommended

Spacious, beautiful wine estate.
Great setting. Great room. Beautiful furnishings. Even though we arrived very late, they had furnished the security guard with the key and all the info typed out. Our room was gigantic. Double shower for two and huge bathtub. Great art. We needed a ride and Theany (?) the staff manager was gracious to give us a lift for a fair price. Wine tasting was fun on the balcony with a view. Heidi the dog was fun to see. The grounds are nothing short of spectacular!

Surprised about the nice accommodation right on our doorstep. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Awesome views. We enjoyed it thoroughly and would probably return soon!!!

The free wine tasting made us feel like we were ghosts, service was poor. Breakfast was less than adequate with items being forgotten and the food being cold. Setting, venue and room were amazing, service however did not meet up to expectations at all.

ENJOYABLE STAY
Room was clean and tidy with ample parking and breakfast was delicious. However, there was no Wifi in the rooms which was disappointing and a restaurant or bar on site in an evening would have been a great addition. Location is great though about 10 minute drive from Stellenbosch and close to the N2 that leads to Cape Town.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Marianne Wine Estate, which is located between Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. The Estate is beautifully maintained and the staff are extremely courteous, helpful and kind. You can walk around the estate or lounge on their beautiful decks to soak in the sight. The estate produces its own award-winning wines and does wine tours. You can have breakfast at the estate but you have to drive to Franschhoek or Stellenbosch for meals. The latter is about 15 mins away.

Very nice accommodation close to wineries and city
We booked our room at Marinanne Wine State and due to some problems with weather we had to be downgraded to a smaller room. However, they were very good in keeping us informed and the room was also very good and comfortable. The location is excellent, close to Stellenbosch and other winery location as well as close to freeway making it very easy to move around.

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful, quiet location. Staff were more than willing to help in anyway they could, and the complimentary wine tasting was relaxed, informative and enjoyable. Only downside was there was no wifi in our room. Would definitely recommend

Marianne Wine Estate is NOT to be missed. They offer an exclusive selection of TOP award winning wines at affordable prices. The estate is centrally located for daily excursions. I was offered an opportunity to experience overnight accommodations in the Manor House and one of the loft suites. Both were very comfortable, well decorated, immaculate and afford the guest a pleasant mix of South African tradition and modern technology. The staff are extremely helpful, detail oriented and make an extra effort to ensure your stay is a memorable one - I know mine was. Best assessment is when a guest returns. I definitely look forwad to my return visit.

My wife and I spent two nights at Marianne Wine Estate. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful and went out of their way to assist us, thanks Leandra, danni and Stian. An added bonus was a tasting of their superb wine range. Highly recommended.

Fantastic vineyard visit
Fantastic place to stay. We stayed in the Master Suite in the Manor House which was extremely spacious. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the whole place is in a lovely setting. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the mini winery tour. On checking out we asked for help with printing our flight etickets which was swiftly done for us. Overall it was a beautiful place which I would highly recommend, just wish we had been able to stay for more than 3 days.

Super location, but..........
A wonderful location amongst the vines and lemon trees with fantastic views - Table Mountain in the far distance. We stayed in the pool house - a separate room from the hotel building with a pool, which was great. The room however was on the small side. The bathroom was stained and needed a revamp and unfortunately the toilet was blocked. However this was repaired immediately when we brought it to their attention. Breakfast was taken at the estate restaurant - a 5 minute walk away, which we enjoyed, but others might not. Breakfast from 8.30am (for the benefit of the staff one suspects rather than the traveller, wishing to make the most of the day) was very limited in choice and although OK nothing special. There was no information file in the room so everythng had to be discovered the hard way and there was no reception area either. Not sure if there were any staff around after 6pm. This hotel could be superb, but it needs someone to manage it more efficiently.

Eine Katastrophe! Das Weingut ist wunderschön gelegen. Egal, ob man an die Weinberge denkt, oder aber die Gebäude. Wir hatten auch wunderschönes Wetter, wenn auch kühl, sodass wir die Landschaft sehr genossen haben. Wenn denn nur die Gastfreundschaft und Professionalität ebenso gut wären: Wir hatten ein Superior-Doppelzimmer über Expedia gebucht, sollten aber bei Ankunft die Honeymoon Hut erhalten. Diese ist in der Tat eine Hütte, weitab jeglicher Häuser in den Weinbergen. Das bedeutet kein Wifi, keine AirCon, Fahrt zum Frühstück mit dem Auto zum Haupthaus. Wir haben diese Reservierung abgelehnt mit dem Verweis, dass wir laut Expedia-Buchung ein Superior Double gebucht haben. Der Ausdruck unserer Expedia-Unterlage interessierte die Hotelmanagerin aber nicht. Man bot uns einen Standard room an, obwohl Superior rooms frei gewesen wären. Wir sollten zunächst 2000 ZAR Rand Aufpreis zahlen, man gab sich dann aber mit 1000 ZAR zufrieden. Wir haben uns dann noch weiter mit dem Haus herumärgern müssen. • Am Ankunftstag war das Restaurant geschlossen mit dem Verweis auf die Hochzeit am Vortag. --> Abendessen in 20 km in der nächsten Stadt . • Das Frühstücksbuffet war ein Witz. Es sollte für etwa 20 Gäste reichen, nachgefüllt wurde überhaupt nichts. Selbst Brot oder Brötchen fehlten. • Restaurantbuchung für den nächsten Abend wieder abgelehnt. • Als wir abends zurückkamen, kein WC-Papier im Zimmer und Rezeption geschlossen! Am Ende hat Expedia uns einen Refund erstattet.

Trevligt boutiquehotell på mindre vingård. Vänligt mottagande men lite rörig incheckning där handdukar mm saknades i rummet. Personalen dock mån om att ordna situationen och erbjuda service som transport mm. Vi bodde i ”loftet” som tyvärr stördes av att träd slog emot taket vid blåsigare förhållanden.

Prachtig hotel in de wijnlanden
Aan de rand van de wijnlanden gelegen estate. Toch perfect als uitvalsbasis om de rest te verkennen. Ontbijt was voldoende en lekker. De kamer was voorzien van alle gemakken en overdadig luxe (manor suite). Wine-tasting was erg lekker, de informatie over de wijnen zou uitgebreider mogen. Ontzettend genoten van het verblijf hier. Hun restaurant Floreal bereidt erg lekkere maaltijden.

Superbe séjour au Table Mountain Loft!
La vue est splendide depuis la terrasse! Confort impeccable dans la chambre et très bon petit déjeuner. Le vin n'est pas le meilleur de la région mais l'accueil est super. La piscine était malheureusement trop froide. Je recommande cet endroit pour une nuit sur la route des vins!
