"Safe, great location"

"We stayed at the Onyx for 6 days and enjoyed it very much. Staff were very helpful and housekeeping were very good. It is in a good location, felt quite safe and the Concierge was very helpful in organising additional tours. Close to Big Red Bus stop, which allowed us to take in Cape Town. Also visited V and A wharf, walked a few times (took about 20 minutes) and took ubers of a night. Would highly recommend. Only downside was breakfast, seems a seperate business and staff were very pushy on being tipped each morning which is quite unusual for a hotel including breakfast, orders were mixed up and slow."

"Amazing hotel with trendy decor. Very comfortable bed. The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast and dinner was delicious. Would highly recommend if you are staying in this area."
