Top Cape May - Wildwood Hotel Reviews

Ala Moana Motel

Ala Moana Motel

10/10 Excellent
"We booked the Ala Moana for a weekend getaway and were very happy with our stay. The location was close enough to the beach, but outside the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk and amusement district. It was an easy trek to get to any place we wanted to get to in the area. We did not take advantage of the pool, but it looked very well maintained, and was being enjoyed be other vacationers. Room was cute and very clean. We appreciated the fridge, sink, cooktop, and small microwave (along with dishes). A couple of suggestions. The WiFi performance was a bit spotty. And the beds in our room, while advertised as queen sized, were closer to double bed sized. Neither of these are deal breakers, though."

8/10 Good
"Only real downside was the elevators were really slow. One was also down and out of order. Power went out to the island during our first night there is what we were told but other hotels didnt have problems getting thier stuff back on but the el Coronado did and they didnt even open the restaurant until later in the morning but the villa nova across the street still had breakfast and everything."

"Nice room, a bit dated bathroom with peeling paint here and there . Would love to have a shower gel added to the included toiletries . Partial ocean view is nice . Otherwise very well kept and comfortable room."

Beachside Resort

8/10 Good
"*The room was clean *A/C was Great. *The service was Excellent office/personnel . *The beds where full size, too small for a couple. *We got a two bed room for 4 people. *Upgrade to bigger beds or room. *You can walk to BoardWalk in about 5 to 10 minutes. *Parking off the street. Not a fan of the double/blocking parking, due to you have to leave your key at the front desk. And they closed front desk between 9/10 o'clock."

La Mer Beachfront Resort

La Mer Beachfront Resort

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at La Mer in early September & had a wonderful stay. We booked a room in a non- renovated portion of the property. Our room was older but extremely clean & comfortable. We took full advantage of the amenities and really enjoyed ourselves. We went to the private beach one day & the onsite pool the next day. We ate at the Pier House & the food & service were excellent. ALL the staff were warm & welcoming & we will happily return."

Congress Hall

Congress Hall

8/10 Good
"Everything was great and we were enjoying our stay when, on the second full day there, we were told that no beach umbrellas were going to be available, only the lounges and towels (or cabanas for $100/day). No explanation was given. We assumed it was because there was a little stronger breeze than the day before, and there were no lifeguards on the hotel’s part of the beach. I want to mention that the other hotels and condos around us were allowing umbrellas to be used on the beach that day. The temperature was in the mid eighties so it was not possible to sit in the sun for any length of time without an umbrella. We ended up sitting at the pool the whole day. I suppose it would be good to know beforehand what the hotel’s policy is on this. With only a two full day stay, the beach was our main focus, so this was a big disappointment."
