"1st time visitor to this hotel. Rooms appear to have been renovated recently and was immaculate. It was very nicely decorated with a full complement of amenities such as microwave, refrigerator and dishes/silverware which was a nice surprise. Great location as well. Only idiosyncrasy was a front desk not staffed full time & opens at 11am which makes check out a little wonky. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again."

"Lovely respite if cottages near Cape May beaches"

"Staff is terrific; very helpful! They offer a shuttle (for most of the day) that can take you anywhere on the island. Pool is small, but we spent most of our time on the beach so didn’t matter to us. They also offer a service to have chairs and umbrellas brought to the beach for you and they set them up and take them back at the end of the day as well. Really great service!"

"From the moment you walk through the doors and are greeted by the super friendly, smiling staff , you are instantly transported to another gentler , peaceful time. Every single staff I encountered was friendly, smiling helpful. The lady at the front desk , I called her angel in my mind because that’s what she was , was so helpful. I loved Nicky who made my morning coffee . The room was clean , super clean , white and airy . As I descended the gorgeous stair of this lovely dowager hotel , I could feel myself transported back to the 1800s , I loved the drinks on the porch they were. delicious . Only regret .. leaving.i give this truly beautiful hotel 5 stars and I thank the staff for a memorable stay. "
