"You're paying for the view, and the privilege of walking up to the ocean. Great location, rooms are decent, AC could be upgraded. Would come back again. Some of those 1 star reviews are an exaggeration. I came in loaded w linens, towels, and toiletries, in case they weren't provided. So glad it was not the case, hotel provided everything we needed. Cleaning staff does an amazing job, considering all the SAND. Its a well run property with plenty of charm."

"You could not ask for more! An amazing house, short walk to beach and close proximity to town. This home has everything too - a well stock kitchen, outdoor grill, beach chairs/etc., screened in porch and more. Plenty of space for a large group to spread out. We hope to return soon."

"The selection of this cottage for our family vacation for one week in July was perfect.The proximity to the beach was great since we had a toddler and could manage the naps easily. We enjoyed the birds and tranquility of the screened in porch for our morning coffee and the fire pit at night for ‘Smores’. The town of Lewes offers much in the way of shopping and restaurants… but sadly we would have needed another week to enjoy all of this and had to leave.We look forward to returning again."

"Our family of 11 loved the house with its big open spaces and plenty of room for our family. The house is beautiful and very well stocked with all of the kitchen supplies you could need. The owner, Mike was very responsive and accommodating of our needs. The walk to the beach, Dairy Queen and into downtown Lewes was very easily made with our 5 grandkids aged 5 to 18 months. Our family also really enjoyed the pool and the screened in deck/porch on the main floor. Thanks for the memories!"
