"Great place to crash if you're visiting the river, 10 minutes from Oregon Creek Park, which is an awesome spot to hit with kids. Pretty sparse surroundings and it's deep in the woods, so it's remote and private. Space itself is set up for 2 people, if you bring more people (wouldn't recommend more than 2 adults, 2 kids) you should bring an air mattress and your own bedding. "Our 3-generation family had a relaxing stay surrounded by beauty. As other reviews have stated, the home is nestled among trees with the windows and deck facing the creek. Our two toddlers enjoyed the deck along with the adults, and our dogs loved running freely when we walked to the creek. The kitchen had ample cookware, plates, and glasses. The beds were comfortable. Beautiful scenery, lovely home, close to downtown ... our family had a fantastic stay."

"This cabin is perfect for a stay for a small family or couple. All necessary accommodations are available the environment was so cozy and clean. The host has good communication and was willing to accommodate our dog that recently got hurt right before our trip and our child whom we had to take our trip. The host even offered a Air mattress if needed. This is a highly recommended VRBO and I would definitely stay again at this location! "

"We are usually a very active family but this trip we really enjoyed slowing it down and hanging around the house. They had a bunch of games, dvd, kids books. More than enough room and beds. It was hard to pick which rooms to stay in. Ha! Our family needed this and it was great get away. Town is not far and we feel in love with Nevada city. They had dog man books and my son was over the moon about that. Great stay highly recommended it. "

"First off, it was over 800 with all the added little feed. We went there to be by the lake. Brought my daughter and her new dog. I texted them before I got there, asking about the lake. No response. When I got there I see why they ignored my text. They're draining the lake for the summer. There was no beach. Just all rock and it wasn't safe to jump in where we were because the water was so low. If you have a boat, this place is good for you.I liked the pool area. But there's caution tape...
