"The room was decent for its price, it has full kitchen which was a plus. Otherwise the place would have been just ordinary motel. The staff were friendly & accommodating. There were homeless people roaming in the parking lot, people who are not staying in the motel can easily access the motel rooms. There was a person (probably not one of the renters) went upstairs & tried to turn the doorknobs of 2 rooms. Fortunately the rooms were locked. If it was unlocked, who knows what he was planning to do. There are Ring cameras facing the parking lot, but I didn’t see any camera facing the hallways or rooms; to monitor for any trespassers."

"One of the main reasons we booked the property due to having A/C. We knew it was going to be hot. All it had was 1 window unit, which only kept the bedroom cool and maybe the hallway. The kitchen was well stocked with plates,cups, pans etc. silverware lots, except not too many teaspoons. No ice maker though, we bought a bag of ice. The starter stuff (soap, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags)was enough for our trip. Not much containers for leftover storage food, nor any foil, plastic wrap or baggies. The ceiling fans helped and both doors propped open helped keep cooler. The hot tub worked well once we figured how to fix the error codes. Never noticed pool person come clean out the hot tub, nor the yard person come. Lots of leaves, sticks and avocados all over the yard. I think the pictures need to be updated!! The outdoor area is totally different, different hot tub, no hammock anywhere and the outdoor couch is not there. The deck is in rough shape and not new like the pictures show. The beach chairs are old and dirty(like mold on them) Indoor furniture is not too comfortable could use some reclining chairs. Loved all the old decorations and fun looking at the old albums. There were plenty of towels and beach towels which was nice. All said and done, we did enjoy the house for our needs it worked well."

"This place was amazing and so was the host!!!! It was perfect in every way, stocked with everything needed and special touches needed that most places never think about. It is beautiful, spacious, comfortable, beautiful decor inside and out. I wish we could have stayed longer because it felt like home there! I would definitely recommend this to anyone and I would stay there again in a heart beat! The host was extra kind when we left a bag behind and it was retrieved and mailed to us immediately! Such a good person. The rating only goes to 5 stars but I would give it 10 stars!!!"

"This is a great house for a family or a group of adults. Four of the bedrooms have king-size beds and easy access to bathrooms. We loved it for our family because there was a room that had four twin beds and a pullout couch for the kids.It was clean and ready for us. So many fun toys, ping pong, basketball game, and places to spread out. The kitchen is amazing, as well as the sitting room adjacent to it and the dining room. We ate outside a lot and really enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub.Right across the street is a beach called big beach with access to the water for the paddle boards, Pickleball courts, a great playground for the kids. This is an amazing amenity right outside the front door!It’s also perfectly located in the Ventura Harbour and we would definitely rent this house again."
