"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. "Very friendly staff, showed me to my room and made sure I was aware of which doors would be closed at which times and where everything was. The room was cosy and comfortable. I had a texmex grill for dinner in the pub which was delicious, and the breakfast which was included in the price of the room was also extremely tasty with a great range of options available. Would definitely stay again if I’m in the area. Thank you."

"The location was ideal, just a 5 minute walk to The Hoe, easy walk to The Lido and the Barbican, 20 minutes from the Train Station, the room I stayed in was small but adequate for what I needed, they no longer do Breakfast but there are a choice of places within a 10 minute walk, bed was comfy and a selection of teabags and coffee in the room, these aren’t always replaced daily but if you ask at reception they will give you some, would definitely stay again if I go back to Plymouth especially for the price."

"Stayed in a small double room as it was the only room available at the time of booking. Clean and had all you need just the bed was small for two adults. Wonderful place with fantastic views overlooking the ocean and Tintagel Castle. We had afternoon tea and it was amazing seating by the window overlooking the Castle. I recommend this hotel for a unique experience just book in advance as it’s popular place to stay. There are nice pubs and cafes in the village itself with really good food if you don’t prebook dinner and breakfast. Don’t miss out when in Tintagel"

"Good size property with plenty of utensils etc.Quiet, peaceful setting with open fields at the rear. We were a party of 8 people. Modern kitchen with a good sized fridge and separate freezer.One thing that needs changing are the two single beds downstairs which were very uncomfortable as you could feel the springs. This was also brought up by another person back in 2024.Other than that everything was fine."
