Calabogie Peaks Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

3.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (460)
"I read some reviews before going to the hotel and I was a little worried, but I always try to take some reviews with a grain of salt. I’m so glad some of those reviews didn’t deter me from booking. It was a great experience. The rooms are fully renovated, the bathroom is beautiful, such a cute balcony that overlooks the mountains. I would absolutely recommend! "

Somewhere Inn Calabogie

2.5 star property

"Beautifully and comfortably remodeled hotel with exceptional service! Loved the cold plunge / sauna and wine bar offerings. Had a sweet swim in the Lake from Barnet Park this morning, followed by shower and sauna. Fabulous shower, comfortable beds, and a propane stove for warmth and ambience. Also truly
dog
-friendly and lovely—unlike many other hotels that have made us feel like we were sleeping in a kennel with our
dog
. Would definitely stay here again when driving across Ontario. Thank you"

"We have been coming to Calabogie every August for the last 5 years. The Juniper is by far the most superior accommodations we have ever stayed at. It is very spacious, extremely clean, the beds are very comfortable and there is ample supply of pillows, towels and toiletries. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of room for cooking and dining for our group of 12. We all enjoyed the ping pong table, sauna, sunroom and fire pit. Matt and Liz are excellent hosts. They are very responsive, and...
