Cairns Motel

"Our stay was October 7 - 10. Cairns Motel is absolutely stellar. Our room was amazing - clean and spacious. While we didn't really run into staff during our stay, they did an impeccable job. I have a bit of a mobility/balance issue, so, I requested a non-slip bath mat before we arrived. (They already have grab bars in their bathrooms ☺️.) When we arrived, one was waiting for us in the bathtub!! That really put our amazing visit over the top. I just can't say enough about Cairns - they really are spectacular 💜. My only complaint is they're not open all year lol. Thank you so much, Cairns Motel!! You truly are a gem."

"The place was very clean. We did not see the staff but you could call or text and get an immediate response from the person responsible of the rental. Everything went smoothly. The place was wonderful with so many amenities. A perfect place to stay when you travel with your dogs. There were also a lot of outdoor facilities for people who travel with children. The beach was not very far and we had a beautiful view on the PEI bridge from our cottage."

Peaceful Beachfront Retreat

"The house/cottage is quite secluded, which we enjoyed. However, it would be best to arrive during daylight, if unfamiliar with the area. The property was very clean inside and outside. The host provided good quality linens, towels, etc... and the kitchen is extremely well equipped, for those that enjoy cooking. The attached gazebo is perfect to eat outdoors, even when bugs and insects are "nasty". We really enjoyed the direct access to the beach using the stairs at the edge of the property. The cliff is several meters high and the stairs to the beach are somewhat steep; be careful. The roaring waves are absolutely magnificent. The properly is totally enjoyable, even during bad weather as there are lots of books (for both kids and adults), games, videos, streaming services, etc... We totally enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! We would consider returning in another year or two. The host contacted us on the arrival day to ensure that everything was ok and that we didn't need anything. He was easy to deal with and very pleasant. We highly recommend this property; it would be great for a family and is nicely set up for young children."
