"What a FANTASTIC alternative to staying inside the walls! Literally a 500 meter (8 mins) walk to the Rödertor Gate entrance of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Wonder staff, very clean, spacious rooms, and off-street parking included. The included breakfast offering is fantastic! We even witnessed the staff prepare a special breakfast table setting for someone celebrating a birthday! With pleasure I recommend Hotel Merian Rothenburg!"

"We did not have the breakfast as we found the pricing too high, but the room was large and comfortable. One rude staff member at the desk, but also one super helpful one as well. The town is gorgeous and the location of this hotel is fantastic. We did eat lunch here, which was excellent, but u fortunately the beer garden was closed due to the timing of our trip (late Oct). I would definitely come back and recommend this establishment. "

"We thought the staff was great, the hotel was clean and very cute. The room was quiet and clean and the breakfast the next morning was great. There was a variety of meats, cheeses and vegetables. As well as breads and cereals. The only challenging thing was the parking. But, parking is a challenge anywhere in the general area. We would definitely stay there again if we are in town."
