Great service, location & rooms !

Our stay at Matilda Motel was perfect. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our hosts & other staff were lovely, making sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. The pool area was great to relax in also. We would recommend Matilda Motel for all this and also because of its handy location.

Motel is on the Main Street so night noise is expected and the railway is very close so train whistles go at all hours but even with that I would stay there again. Rooms are not ground level so if you can’t do stairs it would be no good.

Pick up your act and check the room.

We arrived after the office had closed so we collected our keg from the locked box. When we entered our room, we found wet towels on the floor and the basin had shaving hair all over it, also someone's used soap was left in the soap holder in the shower. The coffee cups and glasses looked like they had not been washed.

So sad 😞

Wanted to give this Motel one more chance after very sad stay last month (oct) upgraded to superior room this month so paid more then last standard room stay. Wow worse, no bathroom sink, to many faults to metion , so brush teeth in same sink as wash coffee cups etc no thanks Love the location but sorry wont be back. I

The bed was comfortable. The curtains were too short for the window so the light was coming in all night. The cutlery and cups in the room were dirty. Staff were nice but the place needs a serious overhaul.
