The staff at the reception is nice and cordial. The property is old but spacious. Our room is without view but close to the kitchen. There is a wonderful cafe house neighboring the hotel and in the morning it is full of customers and you can get a sense of community. Riverside boardwalk under the hotel building is an additional advantage to this property.

Hotel is on the river. Rooms probably in need of a refurb but are spacious & clean. We ate at the RSL which was a short walk away & meals were very good. Also a pub & cafe nearby. Hotel restaurant was closed during our stay. Would definitely stay again

I liked the 'heavy wood' decor- easy parking underneath, decent price, nice receptionist. Dining was a very pleasant surprise, they have an excellent chef and a very nice restaurant. Heavily recommend this hotel.

Excellent position, great room. Only downfall was we were told breakfast went from 7am-11am and when we got down to the restaurant they closed at 9am and we had to find somewhere else. But would stay again.
