Mercure Paignton Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Im blue badge holder and was asked to pay £15 a night asked staff to cha ge our bedding just turned it round came back with body rash"

The Grand Hotel
8/10 Good
"The hotel has amazing character and suits those looking to experience British history! Super friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and quite out there interior design vs the boring modern hotels.
The poached eggs with the breakfast were also some of the best I have ever had."

Woodbury Park Hotel and Golf Club
2/10 Terrible
"Terrible customer service. I was told directly by the hotel that changing my dates would be okay, but when Expedia asked them to issue the waiver needed, they refused. So in reality they said what sounded nice on the phone, then failed to back it up with action. Very misleading and extremely frustrating to deal with. Friendly at first glance, but completely unhelpful when it actually mattered. I would not recommend this hotel."

The Imperial Torquay
10/10 Excellent
"Large, clean room overlooking the bay. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Breakfast was of a good standard. If I was really going to nit pick I'd say the carpet near the sliding door to access the bedroom was getting threadbare. Other than that it was all good."

Courtyard by Marriott Exeter Sandy Park

"Overnight stop - no fuss close to motorway "

Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel

White Hart, Exeter by Marston's Inns

"Good location for shops and Quayside, staff were very pleasant and helpful. A bit dated in restaurant side but still has its charm."

Exeter Rougemont hotel by Sunday

"24hr staff helpful. good breakfast."

The Devon Hotel
2/10 Terrible
"Worst stay I have ever had. The first morning at breakfast the plates were so dirty it put us off eating. We literally went through the whole pile and could not find any clean ones. Didn't bother going to breakfast the 2nd morning.
There was an odd smell on the first day when we walked into room but it was stifling hot so put the air conditioning on and left it at that. However the next evening when we returned to the room we walked in and there was a clear smell of drugs in the room which we could not get rid of by opening the window. The room below were also extremely noisy and it was quite late by this point. I went to reception and explained about the smell and the noise and she responded as though this was no surprise at all. She just said that if people are smoking even normal cigarettes on the balconies below then it does tend to come into the rooms above. She asked if we wanted to change rooms but it was late at this point and I expected them to actually deal with the situation. However they did nothing at all, not even go to speak to the room below to request they lower the noise levels. They literally take your money when you check in and don't care after that"
