The general environment is clean & the staff are friendly. Some parts of the site are a little 'worn', however there are a multitude of areas to happily relax in whether you are by yourself , or in company. The highlight for me is the "Fire & Ice" spa experience!

It's a bit tired but generally the staff were lovely. Not enough serving at the bar by the outside pool, so queues were very long at times. Ran out of food on the Saturday and Sunday we stayed on the May Bank Holiday.

You get what you pay for so it was worth the £40 I paid for the night. Parking was an issue due to current repairs but chargeable at £10 per night, the room was clean and tidy but the bathroom needs updating and the shower was poor. Staff were nice and food I ordered was ok. The whole complex was at one time cool but looks in desperate need af some reinvestment!!!

All the staff were excellent.Room was clean although very small(213). I always enjoy my stays at the Derwent. Disappointedly Alberts was closed and therefore the two reduced price drinks on arrival day were not available although the vouchers were still in the room.
