"Have to go to office if we wanted coffee,but room were spacious bot maybe with a bit more lighting would be better but understand it must be an older motel. Bed were confortable. Not much thing to do around the neighborhood if you get there early"

"The location was awesome - walking distance to restaurants, bars and coffee shop. An hour from the cabot trail. Place was spotless, beds were extremely comfortable and everything you need was provided. Highly recommend."

"The property is very old but comfortable. The people running the Normaway are very accomadating. This is not a 5 star property but fun and I would definately stay there again, the Cape Breton spirit is alive and well with the people and celtic entertainment"

"We enjoyed our stay. Great value and certainly as advertised. The property is close to the road so may not be as suitable for young families. There is definitely some road noise but otherwise a good spot."

"I loved the place. It was very nice and cozy. Would have been nice if we could have used the wood stove. The weather was cold and the place didn't heat up as good as I would have liked. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. It would be nice if there was a hot tub on the deck... just an idea. Host was good though and accommodated all our needs. Thought che k in and check out times good be adjusted and he was very accommodating letting us come a little earlier and leave a bit later. I found the time was a bit late for check in so we arrive an hour early and left an hour or so late. Host was very agreeable. Comfortable beds! Would enjoy the area better if the weather had been warmer."
