"We had a fantastic stay. The hotel was full of character being a Listed Building and The Manager, Tony, gave us a wonderful guided tour of all 15 the bedrooms and the spa in the cellar (which was beautiful). Dinner was absolutely amazing - plus one of the best Full English breakfasts I've ever tasted. The bed was super-comfortable and the bedroom was huge, spacious and beautifully decorated - no two bedrooms were the same - which added to the charm of the hotel. Lovely lounge and fantastic bar and simply a lovely ambiance overall. A huge car park and we had a really warm welcome from Tony when we arrived offering to help carry our luggage. We would have loved to have used the spa but arrived late Friday and were visiting Silverstone on the Saturday for the Michelin Le Mans Cup (my boss is a racing driver in his spare time) and our only regret was not being able to stay longer at this beautiful, relaxing hotel with really kind and lovely staff. "
"Nice and peaceful, clean and good facilities. Nice touch with the Taylors Coffee Bags (could do with a few more to last the week). Nice size desk to work on. Kitchen area is a good size with plenty of storage.
Bathroom, the sink is a bit small for the tap that is fitted (nice tap though). Shower has an excellent flow, a bit small and nowhere to put your soap/shower gel. Overall it does feel a little cramped but then it was a stable so can’t expect too much. The decor fits really well with a lot of thought having gone in to it.
Next week will be my third week on the bounce so they must be doing something right."
"This B&B is a delight. I was greeted by the owner on my arrival and shown to the room. The annex was lovely and clean with great facilities. The setting is amazing and so peaceful. The breakfast choice was great and a plentiful cooked breakfast was offered with a selection of cereal, yogurt and fruit. This is now my go to accommodation for the area and have returned several times. First class……"
"Glad to report that there were no hidden parking charges at the hotel. And you can also get back onto the M1 South without having to go up to J15 and turning round."
