The location could not be better in the heart of Lucerne’s Old Town on the Reiss River next to the famous Chapel Bridge and 15-minute walk from the train station. Views from the river side are fabulous. The restaurant is very nice and it is especially nice to sit outside viewing the river and beautiful buildings. "The hotel is very well located. In a near but not in the middle of the pedestrian traffic. Rooms are clean and neat. Not very modern but I don’t care. Attention at the front guest is good as well as the restaurant for breakfast. Only serve breakfast. The only negative is the WiFi. It’s terrible. If WiFi is important to you this is not a good option. The rest is great at at the least good. "

"The Allstatd Magic was a real FIND! It is the ❤️of Lucerne under the city clock! The property was well kept, clean and the staff were extremely forehand very helpful! We were able to walk everywhere and felt safe at all times! Wherever we went, we were welcomed and English is not a problem as many at least know enough to respond. I highly recommend the Alstadt Magic for its fun atmosphere, but also because it caters to your every need! "
