Breakfast had many options to choose from. I enjoyed the conversation with the owner and his girlfriend during breakfast. Cleanliness of room and shared bathroom was not up to my standards, though."

"I had a wonderful stay here, after a long motorcycle ride that started in Amsterdam. Being able to park my vehicle on the secured premises was one of the main reasons for choosing this accommodation, but luckily, everything else ended up being excellent too. "This hotel needs to be moved into the 21st century. The initial view of the hotel from the outside is good, but that’s about all that is good about it. You struggle to find the entrance to Reception, when checking in you are given your room key that doubles up as a weapon thanks to the size and weight of the keyring. The lift was not working so cannot comment on that but the carpet on the stairs has to be at least 30 years old, so thread bare and worn (seen better carpet in derelict properties)....

"We arrived late to a note from Anne & Frank on reception, with our key and room number and although our room was a little worn (mainly the bathroom), it was spotlessly clean and the beds, pillows and bed linen very good quality.
