Supermarket next door. 5 minute drive to a small shopping complex with a Lidl, Macdonalds, Steakhouse restaurant etc. recommend getting the breakfast here. Good choice of food that will proper set you up for the day. Definitely recommend for a stop over "

"We didn’t stay at Le Cheval Blanc as it was closed for holidays, Hotels.com advised of a nearby chambres d’hôtes and we stayed there ‘Au clos de Charny’ which was lovely, our only problem was our room was up two flights of steep stairs. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a very nice shower room with a good shower. The breakfast was superb, a great choice of cheeses and charcuterie, breads, homemade jams, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The host is a lovely lady too."

"The owner welcomed us and explained all the details. The room was a little cramped with 4 and unfortunately very hot, but beds were very comforable and plenty of bedding and fresh towels provided, as well as helpful simple little extras such as shower gel and tissues. I like that a poster politely asks that people save energy (helping to reduce their bills and therefore cost for customers) by switching off lights etc. when leaving the room. "After a long drive I was ready for a rest and cup of tea. The room was good and tea and coffee ready to prepare. The evening meal was superb, Saint Jacques cooked to perfection. Not always easy when preparing for many people. Well done, Chef! An enjoyable walk into the village, lovely church, and children all ready for a Halloween party in the sports centre facility. Toilet seat was hanging off the bowl, you couldn’t sit on it without it hurling you sideways! Soap? Well that was dispensed in 2 tiny packets Shower - held 7’ in the air just the head no slider.. 18” above the shower screen? Bathroom was freezing due to a duct in the ceiling that let cold air in - and removed any warm air that we circulated in there via a sliding...
