"We really enjoyed our stay at April Cottage, it is homely and cosy in a great location to explore the New Forest and the South Coast. The cottage was lovely and big enough for a family of four (including 2 older teenage boys). The bedrooms, bathroom and downstairs loo are spacious. The lounge and dining area provide a lovely space to eat, play games and watch tv together. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need. There is a spacious conservatory leading onto a lovely walled garden at the back. Good parking at the front of the house.In the village there is a local shop only a few minutes walk away, and in the other direction the local pub is only 5 minutes away. The pub is welcoming and seems popular with the locals and the food and service is good. Only a short drive to the lovely Lymington and Milford on Sea. Brockenhurst is only a 15 minute drive away and is also worth a visit and a good place to explore the New Forest on foot or bike. Nicky was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. There was also a small hamper with biscuits, bread, coffee and tea, with milk in the fridge when we arrived, which was thoughtful and welcoming. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend. "

"What a great weekend spent at this amazing hotel. The staff were so friendly and professional. The room was huge, extremely clean and had a great view of the horses in the neighbouring field. The main selling point for us was that this hotel was dog friendly. Needless to say, we will be returning next year."

"Great communication with Sue.A perfect place for two.Exactly as shown in the photographs.Had everything you could need and a great surprise was the cream tea that we found in the fridge.You can walk into Milford on sea and Keyhaven from the studio,both easy walks of about 10 minutes.Ferry to Hurst Castle from Keyhaven or you could do the 2 mile walk along the spit and get the ferry back."
