Branchville Holiday Houses

The Branchville Railroad Depot is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The front of the structure now houses a museum/shrine of railroad memorabilia, including a caboose. It is open by appointment and children are welcome. Informal tours are led by John Norris, a retired railroad company executive. Admission is free but donations toward the upkeep of the museum are appreciated. Call (803) 707-1788 for information.

"This pains me to write because this could’ve been a great little stopping point, however the bathtub was actually filthy. It smelled like urine and there is a dark grey film that needs to be scrubbed off. I get that old tubs can have stains but these are not stains and could’ve been removed with cleaner and elbow grease.
