"I loved this opportunity to stay in Ingram, at the East entrance to the Northumberland National Park. This B&B is luxurious, quiet and lovely, with great food and atmosphere. There is easy access to beautiful walks in and above the Breamish Valley.
I would definitely stay here again."
"This is a lovely hotel. We had a room in the Pole Barn which had its own outside seating. The seating here could do with being a wee bit more comfortable, but it was a nice touch. The room was small but very well-designed - controllable temp and lighting, a fridge and a great bathroom. The restaurant was lovely - big, airy and stylish. The food was excellent adn the main bonus was the staff -friendly and helpful without fail."
"We had an amazing stay in an absolutely amazing cottage in a fantastic area, we will definitely be back and have already recommend this hideaway to our family & friends"
"This is a lovely hotel with a friendly welcome.
If you've been walking then you'll really appreciate the deep hot bath.
There a nice bar with food service downstairs and breakfast was great. "

"Staff were all very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. We had a good nights sleep here and look forward to returning!"
"It was amazing, the garden rooms are a hidden gem! The design of the room and bathroom were beautiful huge room. The hot tub was a great added touch! I was very thankful for the soya / oat milk in the fridge for us too. The little path to the joiners arms could have been lite a little better from the road to the static caravans but the pub was great also, food was delicious and breakfast was fantastic, great options. The village and walk to Beach especially with the added sunshine and heat on the Sunday "
"Light bright rooms, overlooking fields with castle & sea in the distance. Plenty of parking at front of building. Sraff extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice both cold & cooked. There is an onsite cafe adjouning hotel which was ideal. They served hot & cold dishes, variety of sandwiches, cakes, puds etc. It is open 24/7 & used by passersby on A1.
Very central for trips to Bamburgh, Seahouses, Lindisfarne etc.
We would definitely recommend & will be making a return jorney for sure as still lots to explore. "
"Doxford Hall was in a very convenient location for visiting the area. Although, you do need to drive.
The grounds are simply stunning. Beautifully maintained and relatively extensive.
The hotel itself is lovely. Super clean, traditional, mostly bright and airy and again, well maintained. We had the four poster room which we loved. It was really big and was well organised. It had plenty of sockets, a USB port next to the bed, bottles of water and plenty of hangers etc. The bathroom was large, modern and spotlessly clean with a shower over the bath.
The breakfast was very nice. Not the biggest selection I've seen but something for everyone. It was cooked and served very well. Mostly table service including pots of coffee and racks of toast. We had dinner both nights of our stay as we chose the DBB rate. We ate from the a la carte menu both nights. Every single mouthful was delicious. Beautifully cooked and presented. The house white was good too. There was also a set menu which looked great too.
We only used the swimming pool, not the spa. The pool was a good size for a hotel pool. We enjoyed our swim. The changing room was adequate. Robes and slippers available on request (apparently).
The staff across the hotel were, without exception, all friendly, open, happy and efficient. The hotel never appeared to be short staffed.
We had a great two night stay. I would definitely return and recommend the hotel to friends."
