"Breakfast was quite good. Washroom around shower wasn’t the cleanest. When I first walked in and turned on the light, there was a creepy crawler on one of the bed spreads. It scattered before I had a chance to capture and dispose. Other than that, the stay was pleasant. Friendly and helpful staff. "

"I had a very disappointing experience at the Hilton Garden Inn, especially considering the price and brand reputation. The TV software was shockingly outdated—like something from the 90s—with no support for Netflix, YouTube, or any modern streaming options. When you’re traveling with kids, this becomes a major inconvenience. We checked in expecting a comfortable stay, but instead found issues like stains and outdated in-room features right away. What made it worse is that, as customers, we rely on the Hilton brand and expect a certain standard. We shouldn’t have to check every small detail ourselves. The service experience was even more disappointing. When I requested cutlery, I was asked to come down to reception because there was no staff available to deliver it—and I was given plastic cutlery. The next day, when I asked again, I received only one plate and takeaway boxes. Only after expressing frustration was I offered ceramic plates, and even then I was told to “handle them with care.” As a Hilton member, this felt quite embarrassing and unprofessional. Another issue was basic amenities. Complimentary water bottles, which are usually expected at check-in, were only offered later after I raised concerns—and by then, it didn’t matter. I was told that my concerns would be escalated to a manager, but at checkout there was no acknowledgment—no apology, no thanks, and no request for feedback. That lack of basic customer service was very disappointing. "

"Perfect for our family gathering. Clean and well stocked with kitchen amenities. Good communication with host and easy check in. It would have been nice to have had more low lamp lighting - especially in bedrooms - as opposed to bright overhead lights. Only one lamp in main living room worked but otherwise a very beautiful space. Would return again! "

"We stayed at this property to attend a wedding in Caledon, and it was simply perfect. We have booked many VRBO‘s, and this was one of the best. The photos and descriptions are accurate. The place was clean and tidy. There was lots of room for our eight adults to hang out and the host was very responsive, even getting a couple of extra chairs for us for the dining room table. The kitchen was well stocked (there was even a welcome bottle of wine). The only issue was that the coffee maker, which used K pods, wasn’t working. This wasn’t a problem for us because we brought along a coffee maker, and I’m sure the host would have replaced it if we needed it. The location is outstanding, right on Professors Lake, with just a short walk to grocery store and a very good pizza place. The views of the lake in the morning were wonderful. The outdoor enclosed cabana was heaven to nap in during the afternoon. Despite being on the water, there were no mosquitoes. The air-conditioning worked fine although we were not there during the hottest part of the summer. Overall we very satisfied with the property and would definitely recommend and stay there again if we were in the area!"
