"A really nice hotel for a special occasion, the staff were both friendly and helpful, while food was lovely. We stayed in the Boutique Suite, which was wonderful. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars was because the jacuzzi bath had an issue with the plug, which meant we were not able to enjoy this as much as we would have liked due to the bath losing water. This was reported to reception. While the food was lovely, we were bombarded by flies in the restaurant, which was a bit annoying when you're trying to enjoy a nice meal. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and will happily return again in the near the future."

"A great location close to main roads and an easy commute to Ipswich, Norwich and the surrounding areas. Superb accomodation with very friendly staff and a fantastic range of freshly cooked food. Great range of drinks in the bar and nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is excellent and again a greta range of food to choose from."

"So glad to have visited this lovely property. We stayed in the garden rooms which were peaceful and spacious. Breakfast was nice too. The only downside was the smell of the lodge- if this would be a problem for you, maybe bring a glade plug in."

"Good bar staff, nice food, OK breakfast if you're OK with a buffet style cooked breakfast where things are kept lukewarm on a tray (doesn't work with fried eggs). Little jugs four milk for the table to put into coffee or tea would be a good idea, save having to get up and get the milk from the buffet every time you top up. Very nice room, nice shower. Excellent friendly service at reception very helpful - thanks! Dog friendly (and not a stupid charge either)!"
