Dive into Viking history at the Settlement Centre, where interactive exhibits bring Iceland's first settlers to life. Nearby Hafnarfjall mountain offers hiking trails with sweeping fjord views, while local cafés serve traditional Icelandic pastries.
Really friendly staff. Room is a bit old, but in good condition - rooms have local names, not numbers. Breakfast was good. Interestingly, tables were allocated by your room name which meant there was a table for everyone. There is also an electric car charge point in the carpark.

Lovely quiet place to stay. We wre there for 4 nights, and were upgraded to a cabin, which was nice. The sauna wasn't working, but laying in the hot spa out in the middle of the golf course in the dark of night, looking up at the northern lights, was most enjoyable.

Very nice apartment, easy parking, excellent location. We had a room with the mountain and river view it was excellent. We also saw the Northern lights in a dark quiet place behind the hotel. Our stay was just awesome!
We had a good experience and would stay there again if we visited again.

We stayed 2 nights as part of our Iceland ring road trip. Communication was great. Parking a breeze. Excellent staff for check-in. Room overlooking water cascades. Included breakfast was very good.

An absolute gem. A lovingly restored building and the guest rooms were beautiful with a rural outlook. A communal kitchen was really handy with full oven, cooktop, microwave and kettle. A short drive from Borganes which has a good supermarket and bakery. Tea and coffee provided as well as generous provisions to make your own breakfast.
Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Anna the host was really nice and added to the positive experience.

The location of the property is fairly remote from any of the larger towns but it is surrounded by beautiful scenery. Make sure you take the 3 minute drive to the spectacular Hraunfossar. You won't be disapointed.

We had a lovely stay in the share house. The bedroom was large and clean and the shared bathrooms were spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our dinner but was wishing we had booked into the onsite restaurant as it looked amazing. Made it in time for happy hour which was perfect after a big day of driving.

This place was so lovely! The little apartment was very clean and functional. It was beautifully decorated and had an array of amenities. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. It was definitely very peaceful and quiet. Although I only stayed one night, I thoroughly enjoyed all it had to offer.

We stayed in a building across the road from the hotel which was newly renovated. Rooms are fairly spacious and clean. Breakfast was standard cold meats and cheese with the usual continental options. Plenty of parking and a quick drive to the centre of town for food and groceries. Friendly and helpful staff.
