Picture this: you pull up the ridge, step out of the car, and the noise of everyday life just stops. No traffic. No neighbors. Just tree-covered hills rolling out in front of you, cool mountain air, and the kind of quiet that actually lets you breathe.
Welcome to Casita on the Ridge.
This fully renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home sits on a peaceful elevated ridge in the North Georgia mountains, just five minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. It was designed with one purpose: genuine rest. Not the kind where you're still checking your phone. The kind where you wake up slow, make coffee in a real kitchen, and decide the biggest question of the day is whether you want the hot tub before or after the sauna.
THE SPACE
At 960 square feet, the home is single-level with no stairs — open, airy, and easy to move through. Everything is on one floor, from the king suite to the second bedroom, making it ideal for guests who appreciate accessibility or simply don't want to haul luggage up a staircase.
The king bedroom is a proper retreat within the retreat. Plush bedding, blackout shades, and right next door — your own private infrared sauna. This isn't a shared amenity or a gym sauna down the hall. It's steps from the king bed, yours alone for the entire stay. Infrared saunas are known for deep muscle relaxation, improved sleep, and stress relief. After a day of hiking or wine tasting in Blue Ridge, it hits differently.
The second bedroom offers a comfortable setup with its own full bathroom — so two couples or a small family can share the home without sharing a bathroom or feeling crowded.
THE OUTDOORS
The private hot tub is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year-round. It sits near the deck with open sky above it. There's nothing quite like soaking under a clear Georgia mountain night sky, stars out, no light pollution, no sound except the occasional breeze through the trees. Guests come out here their first night and end up out here every night.
The fire pit and gazebo is set up and ready — bring s'mores supplies or just pull up a chair and let the evening go wherever it goes. The gas BBQ grill is stocked with everything you need to cook out on the deck. The hammock is there for the afternoon when you have nowhere to be. The outdoor dining area means you can eat outside as often as you want, whether that's a slow breakfast or a full dinner grilled on-site.
THE KITCHEN
The full kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook real meals. Whirlpool appliances, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, and a full set of cookware and utensils. Coffee options include a Keurig, a drip machine, and a pour-over setup. Wine glasses are included — because this is Blue Ridge and you will come back from the wineries with a bottle.
THE DETAILS THAT MAKE THE DIFFERENCE
A few things guests consistently mention: the beds are genuinely comfortable, the place is spotlessly clean, and it feels thoughtfully put together rather than generic. Renovated in 2023 with guests in mind — not just aesthetics.
197 Mbps high-speed WiFi throughout the property. If you need to work remotely for a day, there's a dedicated workspace. Four dedicated parking spaces in the driveway. Full washer and dryer in-unit. Exterior security cameras at entry points for your safety and peace of mind.
For families: we have a crib, pack-n-play, children's books and toys, a booster seat, children's dinnerware, outlet covers, and table corner guards. Casita is fully set up for small families with young children.
