"The Blue Beach Inn is a motel, so if you're looking for five-star amenities, this isn't the place. That said, the rooms are recently refurbished, the beds are comfortable, and I have to commend Hersh (Hirsh? Sorry, I'm not sure of the spelling). He manages the front desk, and he's a very responsive, nice guy. Here's something I've never seen before: he prays for the well-being of his guests every night. This is the only hotel manager I've ever met who does this. The motel is next to a very popular brewery as well. Recommendations for improvement? The motel should wash its quilts regularly to remove stains. They should also consider replacing their televisions with smart TV's. A coffee pot in the room would be welcome and wouldn't cost a lot to provide. Pro tip on that: find the local Dave's grocery store. It's a few minutes down the road. Dave's offers free coffee, and it's good coffee. So, for the price and service, this is a good motel."

"The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and warm, however cover was heavy. TV didn’t have many good selections and some were unusable after 9pm. Could hear tv from room next door. For an overnight stay and the price, I was very comfortable . The restaurant next door for breakfast is convenient."

"We stayed there after our friends wedding. My husband and I have not been away without the kids for 15years. All we wanted to do was to go to the hotel and crawl into our Kingsize bed and and the amazing sleep of a lifetime. We both had been looking forward to this for months (technically 15years). When we got there the hotel was under construction and they said they didn’t have a Kings Size Bed as we had booked it for. So Frustrating. We woke up and there were three K Cups. Two Decafs and one regular. To get to the elevators we had to pass by construction of rooms that were going through demolition. Which, to be honest the king size bed that we booked -not being available to us was REALLY what bothered us more."

"Our stay here was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could possibly need. The location was perfect as well—quiet and relaxing, yet still close to everything we wanted to do. JB's on the Water had an excellent brunch. Beautiful Newport was a very quick drive away. Plenty of local spots and activities to explore!Our host was fantastic—responsive, kind, and clearly committed to making sure guests have a great experience. Check-in was seamless, and we felt well taken care of the entire time.We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. "We stayed at Karen's home for three nights in mid-April and while the weather was too cold to sit outside and enjoy the patio and dock, we still found it to be calming and gorgeous just sitting in the living room and watching the water view. The house is clean, the kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable, and Karen had left towels and treats for our dog, which made us feel very welcome. The house is a short driving distance from Naragansett Bay, Newport, Jamestown and from some lovely restaurants, beaches, and walking trails. We hope to be back again. "

"The cottage was quaint. It was the best supplied one we ever stayed in. It was very clean. The location was perfect to explore Newport, Jamestown, Providence, all the beaches etc. The best part was the hosts Ruth and Kenneth went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. When one of the 3 tvs wasn’t working he brought one of his own over to replace it. We highly recommend staying at the cottage ."
