"We had a large clean double room with a very comfortable bed, and benefited from a floor standing fan. Nice towels and large walk-in shower bedroom. Room (no. 7) was located at the front of the property and road noise was quite noticeable. Unfortunately we learnt upon our arrival that the hotel restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment so had to find somewhere local for dinner. This was not an issue in itself and there are various restaurant within 5 minutes walk, but had the closure information been shown when booking via Hotels.come we would have looked else where. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast options were plentiful ranging from cereals to cooked breakfast."

"On arrival we were greeted by the 2 staff on duty and after a short wait (because we arrived early and a room change) we were shown to the room and the breakfast was explained to us as was the after hours procedure. All staff we met were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very good, lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy the early morning sun. It was also nice to be able to sit outside in the evening The room was clean and we had a fan to help try and keep the room cool during the heatwave. The bed was comfortable and not at all like some hotel beds where you both roll to the middle if one moves. The floor creaked a lot, but hey, the building is centuries old. Lovely to have the mahoosive bath, and right by the window. Our dog enjoyed the attention of staff of which he got quite a lot. He was given a sausage for breakfast but showed no interest in it, which was his misfortune. The hotel is ideally sited in the centre of town for anything and is ideal for local shops etc."

"We had a lovely stay at the delightful Leaze Garden Cottage. The place was immaculate and every thing was as described.We really appreciated the little touches that made the stay special. There was milk and cold drinks on arrival, much appreciated as it was a Sunday. We stayed during the heatwave and fans were provided in every room, keeping everywhere a comfortable temperature.The host, Gemma, responded so quickly to any questions and made us feel well looked after.Staying in this kind of accommodation is new to us and I would highly recommend it. Thank you."

"Lovely house with easy access to the centre of Frome. Bedrooms were spacious and the house has been sympathetically decorated for the period. Back garden was perfect for outdoor eating. Would say that it may not be suitable for young children or those who struggle with stairs as the staircase was quite steep."
