The rooms are terrible its so old and dated and falling to bits i later found out its part of the brittania group which is known around my home area as being terrible would never stay again

Nice surroundings outside,check in was smooth however Very soft uncomfortable bed, sockets / power tripped in the room No water bottles in the room , they had a vending machine that run out of water bottles so I couldn’t even buy . Checkout was at 10 am and had to pay £10 extra if you wanted to check out at 11

Had to wait 15 minutes on reception for some one to attend me and 3 others, no one was on reception when we could hear a male and female talking in back office. I could see broken doors had been fixed but no paint over them, felt unsafe

Breakfast is plentiful but average quality. Rooms are very tired, bar area is good, parking is good. 9 mile away from NEC. Overall it is good for the price if your willing to sacrifice quality.

My experience

The hotel was ok as it was a very hot weekend i found the rooms very uncomfortable as for air-conditioning you had a fan in the bedroom to keep you cool only problem was you had to leave it on all night. Would i stay there again yes as long as the weather is not too hot

We stopped here a few years ago and were not impressed by tired decor, cleanliness and poor service. this stay was very different, hotel has been redecorated and all staff were friendly and helpful. Easy car park and lovely gardens to enjoy when the weather is good and lots if seating areas to hang out inside.

Lovely hotel, rooms very clean everything that was needed but no room service on the second day. Think a bit under staffed this weekend. Beautiful grounds to enjoy but again a wee bit cleaning of outside furniture. Breakfast nice and I would use this place again.
